Anyone else think that "Do you wanna build a snow man" sounds like that song from The Swan Princess? Just the part where Anna is older and is singing about talking to the paintings.

And man.. The orchestra sounds amazing.

You'll probably going to hate for this, but I wasn't impressed by the three songs in that featurette. But I liked the "For The First Time in Forever" and "Let It Go".

IMHO, the orchestrations by Dave Metzger are FANTASTIC! :D :D

A Disney orchestrator legend like Danny Troob would be very proud of such a rich sound to the songs, especially DYWTBAS.

Man, the Swan Princess now that brings up a lot of memories for those who were toddlers/preschoolers in the 90's.

"Do you wanna build a snowman" sounds like "Papa Can you Hear Me?" Please tell me I'm not the onlye one that thought that. I like it anyway. Not only the sung part, the orchestrations too. Feelings. I liked all the songs so far.

Some of the cues are eerily similar. But they have a different feeling altogether in my opinion.

And yes, "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" is a phenomenal song. Streisand's final note is a bit over the top, but it's big and bold.

In the behind the scenes music featurette, Love is an open door is so modern and bouncy, makes me feel like listening to a BEATLES song and i'm lovin' it ! :pink:

I'm going to say this right now: the For The First Time in Forever reprise will make me teary eyed when I see it. :(

Kristen Anderson Lopez, stop trying to get to my feels!

Yeah, In Summer seems like a dumb song. I hope it at least doesn't fall flat in the humor department. Luckily every other song sounds superb.

Looks like Frozen won't win the Oscar.

If someone has twitter ask him wether he thinks it'll win or not.

Without seeing either, I think he's probably right, but that's just a random person on twitter lol

He was responding to someone melting down about the prospect of Frozen beating TWR.

So, turns out Disney's FROZEN is wonderful. Great songs, lovable characters, beautiful 3D. This is your hands-down Animated Feature winner.

@ClooneyDisciple don't have to see it to know that would be an unspeakably huge tragedy. sure it's cute. THE WIND RISES = total masterpiece.

Jennifer Aniston ‏@ClooneyDisciple 26 Oct
@JHoffman6 @davidehrlich everyone loves emotionally inert historical cartoons about Japanese aeronautics

david ehrlich ‏@davidehrlich 26 Oct
@ClooneyDisciple @JHoffman6 not saying it *will* win. sadly, that's not something i feel too confident will happen.

Jennifer Aniston ‏@ClooneyDisciple 26 Oct
@davidehrlich @JHoffman6 before tonight, I was pretty convinced it was going to happen.

david ehrlich ‏@davidehrlich 26 Oct
@ClooneyDisciple @JHoffman6 ugh, that makes me hate FROZEN already.

Other comments from that person:
Spencer Lindenman ‏@SpencerL 6h
@heybrucewright @stitchkingdom I got LK vibes from the opening chants in frozen. Just an interesting observation - nothing more

Spencer Lindenman ‏@SpencerL 6h
@stitchkingdom you're completely right - but I wouldn't call tangled a full on musical. Frozen is a musical from start to pretty much finish

He says he liked Tangled more but admits Frozen has better songs and it might grow on him over time. The Stitch Kingdom account says it's their favorite since Beauty and the Beast.

At this point, it's basically a prediction. I think Frozen and The Wind Rises both have strong chances, with maybe Monsters University lurking at the corner.

And frankly, I think it's very silly to lower one's opinion of a movie just because it beat your favourite for the Oscar. Even though it beat Wreck-It Ralph and ParaNorman last year, I don't think any less of Brave which I still really like.
