That French poster (which I hadn't seen before) is actually really cute. If they had posters for that in theaters, people might actually be inspired to see it.

exactly... there's an instant visual reference to a fairytale a lot of people are familiar with. But with Flynn literally 'tangled' up in her hair, it does a great job of making you curious about the film.

I'd love to see an American version of this poster. It really works well with the US title.

I understand that one of you does not trust this site, but it says that a new trailer of Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," will be revealed in Disney's, "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue."

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 18, 2010

Tinkerbell back to the Mexican cinema

Tinkerbell (by the way, that mania to call and to Bell) returns with her friends to the theaters Mexico, the upcoming September 3 with his new movie "Tinkerbell: Fairies to the Rescue ", which is our favorite fairy trapped and has to face the evils of the stubborn Vidia, the fairy most problematic of the Fairies Hollow. A month later, the film will be available in DVD and Bluray. With this film we see the new trailer for Entangled, which will in internet in recent weeks.

P.S. It could be wrong, but that is what it said...maybe.

Something about this reminds me of the crazy Toy Story 3 review.

:x Someone on the IMDB Tangled boards just revealed a spoiler without warning.*beep*

Just so you guys don't get the same thing that I got, don't go on the thread with the title "I hope she cuts her hair at the end."It is not the OP who said so,it was a poster called yowza.

The guy saw the screening so it's mostly legit. :x I'm not lying.

Candy-Bonita95, the fact you warned this spoiler on Imdb seems fine at first but you only make curious some people there and make them go see what is this spoiler... Too bad!
You're even spilling too much details by mentionning to not go on this thread! Oy!
Please, don't go on Candy-Bonita95's link if you don't want to know!
If I could, I would even erase your message , no offense...and would just maybe warn people to NOT go on the Tangled's Imdb forum if you don't want to learn things about the movie that you would prefer to keep secret until the release in 3 months!!

Now, why didn't they release any of Tinker Bell's movies to theaters instead of straight to video? I kind of think it'd make a little more sense that way.

Candy-Bonita95, I'd take out the thread title in your post if I were you

So, if that site is correct, we'll be getting a new trailer in early September? Not too bad of a wait actually. It's been, what, five years? What's another couple of weeks

It's actually impossible to ask them questions. I've tried to see if there are any possibilities to write anything, but there isn't.

When you sign in at facebook you can ask them questions.
It worked for me :)

No offence, but I've had a Facebook account in three years, so I know that you got to sign in to ask questions (sorry if I seem hostile, that's not my intention). However, it's was impossible to write them any questions on that site.

I agree with this advice. It's a major movie-ruining spoiler.

But for those who just couldn't resist ...

(1) You really need to do something about that instant gratification urge or you'll never get anywhere in life, and

(2) The spoiler in question is not entirely accurate.

So you just got the worst of both worlds. The movie is ruined for you, but you still don't know how it ends. Serves you right.

No offence taken ;)
Can it be something with your facebook account?
I have tested with 2 different accounts and I had no problem writing a question...

It's pretty! Though it looks like almost the same as the image from the D23 Magazine. Here are the two images side by side

Which one do people like better? I believe I like the older one better. The clothes blend and don't stand out as much. 8)

When you say which one do we like better...do you mean which painting do we like better or which design of Rapunzel and her outfit?

If it's which painting is better, duh, it's the old original.

But if you mean which design is better...I like her older design better, too. I mean, that dress is more unique and original, unlike any I have ever seen. Just the colors should be changed, like a better green for her dress and make her eyes green instead of brown. Or her dress could be purple, but keep the gold and white parts.

The only possibility why I would like the new design more is if Mother Gothel wants to cover up Rapunzel's growing sexual adultness, but that doesn't make sense for this Mother Gothel because she is using Rapunzel to become a sexy woman herself! Or would she also rather be more beautiful than Rapunzel, and have a more revealing outfit than Rapunzel?

Did they forget to make the new picture of Rapunzel's eyes green? In the old one they look brown, and they look brown in the new picture, too!

I meant both, although my complaint was on the painting. :)

That's actually an interesting theory, it would make more sense why she doesn't look 18! :x My own theory is that she makes Rapunzel wear youthful clothes, so when Rapunzel looks in the mirror, she wouldn't seen an adult she would look more like an inexperienced child that needs guiding and can't take care of herself. It would make more sense why Rapunzel would listen more to "Mother knows best"

I eyedropped the two images in Photoshop and they both seem brown.

That is a great theory!

I don't see why you are mad she doesn't look 18. So many past Disney princesses did not look the age that they were supposed to be, like Aurora did not look 16 or sound 16. Yet, her voice actress actually was 16. And I have seen some girls and people that do not look their age. So, I think it's all still possible, and they are magical fairy tale princesses, too!

Dang, they forgot to make her eyes green in the new picture! Oh well. Her waist also looks too skinny in the new picture.

True! I was forgetting about Aurora. I guess why I'm a little mad is she was originally going to be sixteen and now she is eighteen. So I don't get why they changed it, changing her age doesn't improve the story in anyway, so it makes no sense why they changed it.
