^ I'm so glad I got the $8 coupon from Amazon in June. I have no idea why Disney is now only giving us $5 coupons; I mean, yeah, it's really great that we're getting them when other studios do not offer them, but they used to be $10 coupons and now they're only $5. Still, I'm glad I pre-ordered it off of Amazon (and I'm helping UD, too).

So Best Buy has an exclusive bonus disc with the 5 disc combo pack? 6 discs for $21.99?
That's actually a good deal. Wasn't sure on the 3D combo since I don't have 3D, but at that price I'll pick it up for the bonus discs.

It was alright. Nothing new. Some spectacular set pieces though. A mermaid attack scene is among the highlight of the entire series.

It has Johnny Depp in it, so... yes.

Might go for the Best Buy 3D combo, even though I don't give a crap about the 3D disc. Would feel better about it if I even knew someone with a 3D TV.

Is there a pic somewhere of the Lego Black Pearl Target is giving away?
So at Best Buy you can get a 3rd Bluray disc with even more special features? Yet, they couldn't release a 3 Disc (2 Blu, 1 DVD) release without 3D. That makes a ton of sense.

Have got it on 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy. A really funny, entertaining and epic film. Great sets and a great cast!

Actually it would be a 4th Blu-ray disc if you count the Blu-ray 3D disc...at least that what it seems like. Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, Blu-ray special features disc (not found in the 2-disc Blu-ray combo pack), and the Best Buy exclusive special features Blu-ray disc. Of course someone can correct me if I'm wrong

DarthPrime: That's correct. From what I've seen, it's actually going to be 6 discs for $21.99 (after coupon).
@
singerguy04: I agree
completely with you about Disney's ridiculous new practice of keeping the special features only with the 3D release. Why not just include it and let people decide for themselves which version to buy?
@
KACENAID, you have it correct. There are actually going to be 4 Blu-ray discs (if you include the 3D disc).
I have included all the pictures I've found. Hope this helps.

Wellll guess I'll be getting this after all. Best Buy has sucked me in with the promise of bonus discs. Sometimes I'm too easy.

The Best Buy Bonus Disc is available in Canada as well, if any Canucks were wondering.

So, for those of us that have already preordered it with the Collectible Packaging, that means:
26.99 - 7.50 deposit - 5.00 coupon = $14.49
15 bucks for 6 discs is not too shabby at all.

you paid for the deposit. shouldn't that factor in the cost?

...14.49 does have the deposit factored in. Try doing the math again.
I'm definitely going for the Best Buy release. The add looks like they even gave it decent disc art. Once again, why did Disney put SO much effort into an extra special disc for Best Buy when they couldn't even release a proper 2 disc blu-ray.
Also, maybe it's just me, but I can't really consider a Blu-ray 3D disc to be the same as a regular Blu-ray disc. The 3D is a completely new format, and so much so that you need it's own equipment to use it. The two are as different to me as Blu-ray and DVD. I think you're kinda lying to yourself to think of this release as a 3 Blu-ray release (everywhere except Best Buy).

Yes, but I already paid for that. So I'm not worried about that $7.50. Also,
I kind of look at it as paying 7.50 for the case itself.
