Photos from the props and costumes shown at Comic-Con are here (interesting that the little door is actually a pair of double doors):

And apparently the Comic-Con teaser is slightly different from the mainstream teaser leaked yesterday:

Let's see how long it takes for someone to post it on YouTube.

But then
Kubrick, why does the CGI look so much better in this poster they already did?

Oh yeah, and there is way too much Depp in the trailer. Almost wish he wasn't attached, maybe Michael Keaton instead.
Yeah, Michael Keaton has been pretty quiet for the last few years save for his voice role on Cars.

Anyone else feel the trailer makes the movie look like Johnny Depp In Wonderland?

I love me a whole lotta Johnny too, but it is a bit too much Depp for the story. Having him so much in POTC and such is one thing, but I hope its not all Mad Hatter.

While I do suspect that the Mad Hatter will see more exposition in this film than in any other version of the story I think Disney is just hyping up Depp as the biggest star in the movie (no offense to the rest of the cast but they don't have the same star appeal as Johnny does). It looks like the biggest focus will be on the war between the Red Queen and the White Queen.

This is now, next to "Toy Story 3" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", my most anticipated release of 2010. Great stuff!

Couldn't agree with you more Mooky, I'm excited for all 3 films, I'm actualy more curious bout Tim Burton's Alice than the other 2 films.

You want to compare a couple of seconds of film with a publicity still? They can't be compared at all, it's like saying the rendering in The Frog Princess trailer wasn't as good as they did in the poster.
One was made up for publicity (head enlargement is quite easy for one picture in photoshop) and the other was a small shot of the film, which could be sped up or not the finalized product at all. They have what, nine months left to finish it? Plenty of time. I'm sure the Queen with her head three times too big and the talking rabbit and the talking cat will be perfectly realistic when the film comes out

^ Well, I hope so.
But HEY GUESS WHAT? I saw the Alice trailer in 3-D at G-Force today! The movie wasn't really all that funny but it was enjoyable and of course cute!
But the Alice trailer was SO AWESOME in 3-D! In fact, in 3-D, the CGI looked really cool! I mean, think about how the cat comes towards the camera in the trailer. It came right at the audience!
So, I can understand the CGI not being as real-looking as it could be, because it looks really good in 3-D! It just worked! It looked so awesome! Well, actually not really the Queen's head still, but everything else!
Disneykid was right about the designs of the CGI, even if I still hope they make the CGI look more realistically rendered to be more effective. But in 3-D, everything looks a little seperated, anyway!

I went to 1 day of Comic Con on Thursday and I attended the presentation for this by Tim Burton with surprise guest Johnny Depp. They showed a trailer, but it was different than the one released online. This one was in 3D and used a modern song. Most of the clips were the same, but in a different order. It was pretty cool. Tonight they are having a special exhibit with costumes from the film. Unfortunately, I am already back in Orlando so I can't go to that.

Glad to hear that the CG is more impressive in 3-D, Disney Duster! How was the rabbit hole? I think that's the sequence I'm most looking forward to in 3-D since not only do you have things flying at you, but there should also be a sense of depth, an effect I adored in the tunnel sequences from Coraline.
The Comic-Con teaser still hasn't been posted, but the UK teaser for the film features two additional lines of dialogue that was were part of the Comic-Con one (they're at the end of this teaser):
<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="
http://www.youtube.com/v/1VHRz1S_kYI&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
http://www.youtube.com/v/1VHRz1S_kYI&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
Watching the teaser in high-def, I noticed a few more things:
* Maybe my eyesight's bad, but Alice looks thin enough to fit through the door without the aid of Pishsalver (the shrinking potion). The camera distance and angle is probably distorting the size of the door, though.
* The Red Queen's playing cards are neat looking and kind of remind me of The Looking Glass Wars series. It certainly makes them more menacing than if they were made of card stock.
* Alice's
Bandersnatch wounds seemed to have changed. The original Vanity Fair photo showed scratches covering her arm from top to bottom. These were later airbrushed out for the final photo. In the trailer shot where she's looking up at the Hatter, she only has a bandage around her upper arm. Her forearm looks completely fine. Hmm....
* The Red Queen has a mural of the Gryphon and the Jabberwocky fighting. I wonder if the Gryphon himself will make an appearance since he's not in the script.
* We get our first look at the March Hare and the Dormouse. The Dormouse is scurrying ahead of the White Rabbit in the shot with them, Alice, and the Tweedles. The March Hare is in the shot where the Hatter stepping off the tea table. The Dormouse goes by too quickly for me to judge, but in the case of the March Hare, I'm not so sure I like his look. I guess I'm just too used to brown March Hares. Gray makes him look old, which I don't think is intentional in this case.
Here's also a new image of the Red Queen with her court:

From the picture of the Red Queen & her court that Kelvin posted, it seems as though everyone in the Queen's court has some feature exaggerated (head, belly, nose, ears, etc).
