yes, thats one quality that all the princesses share -- friendship with animals/nature. its pretty much a requirement.

Pocahontas and Snow White live with nature while the others dosn't.skyler888 wrote:\Snow White and Pocahontas-Princesses that like nature.
Don't almost all the princesses love nature?
good pointatlanticaunderthesea wrote:To be honest, I think they are just pairing opposite Princesses together. If you see what I mean? Aurora and Jasmine, apart from having to marry a Prince don't have a lot in common. Aurora's world is that of forests, woodland creatures, spring time etc, and Jasmine's is exotic, warm, and full of adventure. These are two totally different worlds; so therefore the DVD will appeal to two different types of Princess fans.
To me, it would make sense to have the following pairs after Jasmine and Aurora:
Belle and Mulan
Snow White and Ariel
Cinderella and Pocahontas

But I was thinking; I would just love to have an Ariel story that featured her on land! Maybe set just after her original movie, and before she had Melody. I love her stories of being under the sea, but she had a whole TV series dedicated to that. It would be nice to see her in the world she craved so much to be a part of. I know she is 'The Little Mermaid', but I would still love to see her onland.
i mean after she met Aladdin, and it can't,what story you can tell about Ariel on land? she and Eric want to make a ball but they don't have money? of course they'll make it under the sea.Fantasmic wrote:Uhm, I think we've determined that Jasmine's story isn't going to have Aladdin in it. And there are lots of stories that could be told on-land for Ariel. Open your mind. Plzz.
i was kidding with the ball part:P,i thought about the same thing exctaly but it's just not intersting as her life in Atlantica.Fantasmic wrote:there's tonnes, just because you don't have enough creativity to make them (or don't have the common sense to make them any good -- obvs the royals would have enough money, don't be ridiculous).
how about Ariel's first time alone on land, with eric gone away? She has to adjust to all these different customs and get used to it when she just got there, and she's alone in it all. maybe some customs even shock her, like seeing an outdoor fish market. it could teach kids a lesson in tolerance, understanding, and acceptance, something many kids sure aren't learning at home.
now i made that up in about 30 seconds, so just wait and see what professional scriptwriters who took 4+ year courses in college can come up with when they have much more time and resources.
and a Belle story about her being in the castle which has *three* movies about it? or Jasmine after Iago joint them which has *two* movies and a *whole* TV series? it's more intersting to her as a mermaid then a human and besides-she's more poplure as mermaid then a human (why is The Little Mermaid III about her being a *mermaid*?).Fantasmic wrote:her life in atlantica would be interesting if there weren't two movies (TLM, TLM3) and a tv series about it. it's overdone.
you're missing the point, there's nothing to tell about how Belle lived in the village or how Jasmine was stuck in the palace, but Ariel had a whole intersting life under the sea.Fantasmic wrote:EXACTLY. Jasmine and Belle both had movies, etc based on their life AFTER their first movies. They didn't go back to when Belle still lived in the village or when Jasmine was stuck inside the castle. They need forward motion. The reason TLM3 is going to be when Ariel's a mermaid is because there's still alot of questions it's gonna answer about her family, her mother, and ursula.
ALL OF THIS IS IRRELEVANT AND STUPID BECAUSE AN ARIEL STORY HASN'T EVEN BEEN ANNOUNCED.
I think that this will be a lot better (quality & story-wise) than all the other Princess DVDs. I rented the first "Princess Stories" (?) DVD, and it wasn't good. I mean, the "Aladdin" episode was good, but I was just very let down. "Enchanted Tales" will have new stories, new animation, new songs...for me, it's the only Princess DVD released so far worthy to have (well, maybe the Sing Along Songs would be)...Ariel'sprince wrote:question-
should i buy this? i"m really exitied about this and i really wanted to buy some time a Disney Princess DVD (not a Disney Princess movie on a Platinum Edition which i"m buying,a Disney Princess DVD) and i actually was thinking of buying a Disney Princess stories\sing along\DVD game world but then Enchanted Tales came so i changed my mind.
what do you guys think.
