Bo-Peep looks good, but my problem is the attitude. Telling from her cast in the arm and whatever is on her head, Bo may have experienced a heck a lot. But, still why does she look mean?

I don't think she looks angry. Almost like maybe this is her first meeting with Woody again and she's distrustful.

Woody also broke his right arm specifically in TS2, yes?
Also, she'd probably be a little sad/mad if we're to assume Woody and co. never saw her again after whatever happened to send her away. But then what could they do? Being a toy in this world is harsh because you have thoughts and feelings but little free will.

They were inconsistent with which arm woody had ripped actually. It changed from shot to shot.

It seems Forky and Bo-Peep will be joining Woody and Buzz in their newest road trip. That illustration of Bo Peep looks horrible, by the way.

I'm glad Bo Peep is going to have a main role in the film after all. This will be the first time we'll see her on a road trip which will be a nice change, but I hope Jessie will be included as well.

I have a feeling that Bo Peep is not going to make it through the end of this movie in, ahem, one piece.

^I sincerely hope not. I would be terrible of them to bring her beck just to kill her off.
By the way, has anyone noticed the new keychain character on Bo-Peep's shoulder? I wonder if that character considers Bo-Peep his "mom" or something and that's why she's going with her.

I can see that happening, too, UmbrellaFish. The only way to one-up the ending of TS3 is if a character actually died this time. It would explain the poster of Woody standing alone, all melancholy. At the same time, that might be a little too dark for a children's film.

It seems that illustration is from the same Russian calendar as the
Frozen 2 picture. Apart from confirming Bo Peep has a big role in the movie, the synopsis also confirms the love story is still part of the plot. And it looks like Bo Peep doesn't have a new outfit as we thought, it's just the petticoat (or whatever it's called) she had under her dress.

Yes, I noticed it too. I'm curious about that character. I think you're right and she's going with her.

I feel like that'd be the equivalent of an alternate ending to TS1, where Woody didn't intervene due to rules and Sid lit Buzz's rocket. It is a "so close but so far" ending.
The Woody standing alone poster is like those Cars 3 posters with Lighting spinning upside down. Or like that teaser where he's in a wreck. It's important to the plot, sure, but Pixar/Disney hasn't killed off a good guy during the movie since... What, Princess and the Frog? Would they really bring someone back just to build drama?
If it happened to Bo,... Well, I guess it's fitting that the shepherd would become the sacrificial lamb.

It has been pointed out to me on Twitter that the character in question is probably Lulu, a Hawaiian paper doll teased at the last D23 Expo.

She looks like a nurse..with a nurse cap on...maybe she’ll be the one fixing Boo when she breaks...

Oh, OK. Yes, it could be her.

I also thought she looked like a nurse. The image quality is not too good, though, so we can't tell for sure. We'll see when a better image of the character is released.

How are we sure that this Bo Peep in the leaked artwork
is the Bo Peep from the previous installments? We know from
Toy Story 2 that there are toy duplicates with duplicated personalities. This could be just another Bo Peep doll as part of a Bo Peep collection.
Like shoot, every time I hear something about this sequel, it seems more and more intense. Did any of you guys hear about that interview in which Tom Hanks was crying after recording the last bits of the script? So if we're going to guess a sad ending, it's going to involve "toy death" or splitting the gang apart.
toy death explained. great video, but tedious. skip the game theory part.

I'm also thinking that Bonnie's parents are limiting spending on toys, so this prompts Bonnie to make Forky in the first place. Too many toys mean sacrifices to the thrift store or donation bin.

I'm pretty sure its not. They wouldn't change her up so much. Maybe if she were a doll and not a lamp, but none of the none human characters in this franchise ever changes so drastically.

Either that article or one linked to it mentions Keanu Reeves playing a 2-3 inch tall character; maybe he's playing the "paper doll Hawaiian keychain nurse?"
