It's quite good and for sure worth the buy.....Also I heard that on Cartoon Network a Live Action Ben 10 Alien Force Movie is coming soon to tv....

Also Today I picked up Mary Poppin 45th SE DVD and The Secret of the Magic Gourd....and I rented Open Season 2 for $1.49 at the local grocery store.....which I have yet to watch....
I'm curious about the Magic Gourd. I didn't realize it was already out. I'll have to check out the UD review if it's already up. I don't always agree with the opinions of the UD reviewers though, ha.

Yeah, I heard that about the Alien Force movie. I haven't watched the first movie but saw bits and pieces of it and it looked pretty neat for a made-for-TV adaptation. I wish I knew more about the show. I've only caught bits and pieces of that too, but it looks good and I've been meaning to buy it for a while.

I heard a while back that they were supposed to be making a Scooby-Doo live-action prequel too, but it's been a while now since I've seen anything about it.

Hey! I just saw this movie on Logo a couple of nights ago. I thought it was okay at best... :/
I don't watch Logo movies cause they're edited but this is the theatrical release (of course) so I'm hoping it will be good!
The cover looks hot! Adam & Steve shirtless...

I really want to see more episodes of this show, but Hallmark shows it badly syndicated, and plus I don't feel like staying up until 1 AM on weeknights (because they only show it on weeknights), and I would much rather watch the episodes uncut (on the DVDs) on my own time.
I got mine over at Amazon. I think it was about 35 or so. So far, I love the set, but my main gripe is that they're double-sided discs. I hate when Universal does that with their DVD releases sometimes. :p

I think I saw it at Target for $17.99 if you didn't open it yet.

Then again, it's Mary, she's worth the extra two bucks. ;)

Anyway, added these recently...

Image
Yellow Submarine for only $2.50 at FYE. I've already got a copy, but the DVD is like, extremely out of print and I know that I'll probably wear out my DVD. And when I saw this in the clearance bin (the last one left!) I snatched it up. :D :D :D

Image
"This Is America, Charlie Brown" also for only $2.50 at FYE. Another great find in their clearance section (a month earlier I snagged "The Forsyte Saga: Series Two" for $10 from their clearance section). I know that Warner will re-release these (they already included "The Mayflower Voyages" in the RDE of the Thanksgiving DVD), but for this price, I figured it couldn't hurt.

Image
"Twin Peaks": Season Two" for $19.99 at FYE. I've already got the Gold Box Edition, but there are extras here that aren't there. Plus, this gives me two sets of the series, as I've also got the original Artisan DVD for Season One (which has its own unique extras as well).

Image
So Dear To My Heart from Disney Movie Rewards. I'd rather have the Brazilian R1/R4 DVD, but this will do for now as it's pretty much the same thing, minus the 25-minute "Lost and Found" footage, but plus two good cartoons.

Image
Inland Empire for $12.99 at Tunes. Absurd, really. But it's Lynch so you kind of expect it. And there are some good coherent moments to the movie.

Image
"Absolutely Fabulous": Complete Collection for $29.99 at Tunes. Not really complete as it doesn't have the specials or Series 4 and 5, but given that I don't have pocket money for the "Absolutely Everything" boxset, it'd be easier for me to pick up the DVDs I don't have if I find them used.

Image
Walt Disney Treasures: The Hardy Boys for $24.99 at Best Buy. Figured I might as well before copies run out on me.

Image
WALL-E: Three-Disc Special Edition for $17.99 at MovieStop. I love MovieStop. I know I'm going to regret this purchase when I go Blu, but for $18, can't really regret it that much!

There's a bunch more too, but I'm getting tired of looking them up on DVDAF.

I believe I've now secured a copy of, through eBay (which I never order from, but I had money sent to me through my PayPal account), my most-wanted DVD:

The seller seems to have an almost perfect feedback-rating, so I'm hoping for the best.

Are those photos the photos that the seller put up on eBay, or did you take them? Only because they don't look factory sealed.

The photos were taken from the seller, the listing also had pics. of the back which showed the buena vista stamps. They came in on Friday, both sealed and with coupon/ad books inside.

Wow, you really got a good deal! I paid $14.99 for SB Used at GameStop 3 or 4 years ago, then about 2 years ago, FYE had one used with a slipcover for $24.99, so I got that too. Then I paid $29.99 for my copy of Alice about 2 years ago (came with slipcover). It makes me sick to think how much I could have saved and how many new DVDs I could have bought with the money I spent just to get copies with slipcovers. I wish I hadn't been such a neurotic dunce.

Saw V: Theatrical Version, FOOLscreen $14.99 used at FYE. I was upset that the theatrical version was only released in Fullscreen, but I heard that the Unrated version had tons of scenes re-ordered, and some lines were cut. I wanted to see the film the way it was shown in theaters. Plus, I'm sure the MSRP for the Unrated one will go down to around $14.99 - $19.99 by this summer or fall (much like it did with Saw IV), so I figured I'd get the theatrical one now (since the theatrical versions of the Saw films on DVD are more or less impossible to find where I live), and I'll but the unrated one once one of two things happen: 1.) I find a copy of the Unrated Collector's Edition (which I doubt will happen) or 2.) The MSRP drops for the standard Unrated version.

Image
Hannah Montana: The Complete First Season, $25.99 Used at FYE. When I first heard this DVD was being released, I was pretty excited, but it wasn't a priority for me. When I saw it sitting there for $26 I thought it was pretty reasonable, so I got it. Even though it was used, I bet the DVD wasn't selling enough so some FYE employee must have taken off the shrink wrap and re-wrapped it and sold it as used, because it feels brand new, there are absolutely NO fingerprints, dust or blemishes on the discs, and all the inserts are still in there (including the iron-on sparkly picture of Hannah! Not that I'll ever use it, but it's still exciting). Plus, the packaging shows absolutely no wear at all.

DVDs have become so expensive now, so even though I didn't get the best deal in the world (with tax, the total came to almost $44!), I'm still pretty happy.
