Oh yes, the "made in mexico" clear sticker.
I tried taking that off but was unsuccessful. So I called Disney. :p

Anyways, I just leave those stickers on because it's clear and doesn't mess with the artwork in the front.

Personally, I think the stickers (the circle ones) are nice on the covers. Shows it's "authentic store-ness."

The Best Buy here has clear-removable labels that they place price tags on, so it's a lot easier for me to remove the price tags. :)

The stickers don't bother me, so I leave them on.

I always take them off. They just cover up the cover.

TIP: Before peeling off the stickers, place a hair-dryer over it for a few seconds, moving it back and forth. Then peel the sticker off with no left over crap still stuck to the cover! :)

Well the slipcover I just received for The Lion King from Disney didn't have any stickers but the other ones, the only thing that comes off is the price tag and the bar code if there's one.

Oh no! Not another slipcover topic!

Anyway, I keep mine on as I have a nasty feeling it will leave a papery mark if I don't.

I take off all stickers if possible. Even the barcode sticker that covers the regular barcode in the slipcover.

So far so good. No damage done.

I take off the price sticker and thats about it, I found that if the sticker leaves some of that residue behind you can take Goo-Gone to it and it wont damage the slipcover just use a little and use a rag.

The stickers wouldn't bother me except for that over time, they usually start to peel away and the glue underneath picks up any dirt and dust it comes into contact with and then it looks like Hell.

I've never heard of asking Amazon for slipcovers! :o

The main source to go to would be the Disney Customer Service, but several members of the forum are saying they no longer have Mary Poppins' shiny slipcover..

If you wanted proof to use for a Mary Poppins slipcover, the review says so:
This Mary Poppins DVD re-release is housed in a holographic carboard slipcover, which holds its standard width black Amaray keepcase. The slipcover does indeed open like a book (a fact made explicit by the "Open Here For Fun!" wording) to reveal photos from the bonus features. Inside the case, the DVD Guide opens up to six pages and provides a map and overview for the DVD's bonus features.

*sigh* i think Mary Poppins's slip cover is so pretty, even i never really see it in person!

I guess the only way for you to obtain a slipcover is through...EBay! :o
The slipcover is pretty and nice to own, but the DVD itself and its bonus features are what counts. As long as you own the 40th Anniversary DVD, I think the slipcover can wait. Hopefully you'll be lucky to find the slipcover somewhere else! :)

Just received my slipcovers and it's only been a week. Good service.

I ordered Alice in Wonderland and Lion King (1). I never got one for Alicei n Wonderland and when I tried to peal off the sticker to the lion king one, all the stick stuff still was there, kind of annoying to me.

Now I figured I would only order 2 at a time, I know people say theirs no limits but I feel 2 at a time isn't too greedy or annoying I guess.

and the best thing about them, No Stickers (nothing wrong with them) but it just looks a lot better I guess with no stickers and its very shiny :)

So next up, Pocohontas (mine came a little ripped on the side) & Finding Nemo or Beauty and the Beast (not sure)

Just a quick question but I think it's already answered but does either Tarzan or Dinosaur CE have slipcovers?
