Wow I am astounded by the sheer size of some people's collections here, they're amazing. Anyway I thought I might aswell post mine, however it's no where near as large as some peoples! I have only properly collecting for under a year, I started about June 2008. Before then I had very few Disney DVDs, these consisted of
TLM:PE, TLM2, PP:PE, RTTN and HSM 1&2. I still have all my old VHS from when I was little though. I am aiming to collect all the animated classics along with their sequels and the like, and then I may move over to the live action side. Within the last week I've just got
Snow White PE, Beauty and the Beast PE (I've wanted these for so long),
Cinderella II, Oliver and Company, Mary Poppins and Pinocchio (today lol)! So yer it was a good week for my Disney collection

! I order my DAC in chronolgical order with the sequels/midquels/prequrels injected into their respective places, I then have other what I class as spin-offs (of which there are only two) which are followed by the hybrids (only have Poppins and Enchanted at the mo), then PIXAR animation (which I have more of in my house like Wall-E etc. but they're not mine!) and then Misc. Animation. After that come my Live Action Disney DVDs (of which I have few of) which aren't really in any order as of yet. So here we go...

Yer I sure will when I get the chance. I'll try and get them posted this week

Is there a reason why it shouldn't be? Alot of my Disney DVDs are in Widescreen. Sorry my knowledge of the technological aspects of DVDs i.e. ratios and what not is very limited

Does anyone know of a site that easily guides you through stuff like this, that would be really useful.
I've added a few more to my collection since this photo was taken, on and I'm waiting for my first ever blur-ray, Sleeping Beauty

I don't even have a Blu-Ray player!!! However I just wanted to get it while I still could with the extra DVD version

The question about Snow White being being widescreen is very simple: Up until the 1950's, Disney, like most studios at the time released their films at an aspect ratio of 1.37:1 (aka academy ratio), which is very close to a fullscreen ratio of 1.33:1 (the aspect ratio of 4:3 screens), so titles like Snow White, Pinocchio and Fantasia (to name a few) should all be fullscreen, Sleeping Beauty (to my knowledge) was the first title to be released in widescreen.
As for a site to read up on this, to know the proper aspect ratios of films, all I can recommend is imdb.com, under technical specs for each title you should be able to find what the original aspect ratios are for that specific title.

Snow white says "widescreen" because its another Buena Vista Home Entertainment UK mistake. Get used to them, they happen a lot. The DVD is 4:3.

Here you go, I wasn't exactly sure what you wanted to see, so I took photos of the back and front, hope these are okay for you
First
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This is the front of the DVD and the front of it's accompanying box
This is the same shot only from the back
Inside the box and the book
Close up of the book-gives you an idea of it's size
Now
Beauty and the Beast
Front
Back
Inside and leaflets
Well there you go, enjoy

Well, the those nice limited edition boxsets only came with the first few Platinum Edition's. I think it was the first four or so - Snow White, Beauty & the Beast, Lion King and Aladdin. The Ultimate Disney list should mention it.
Now, it would be nice if they brought them back, makes the Platinum Edition seem truly Platinum.

It's not much, but it's nice, at least for me! And it's mostly a Brazilian collection, featuring some US/EU editions...
Oh, and this week I'll be receiving my US Pinocchio and BOLT Blu-Rays! Yeah!
