I think it looks really nice, another great collectors item for the UK. Lucky!

Thanks for posting the news! That's beautiful; I wish here in the U.S. we would get something like that. I'm considering ordering this.
101 Dalmatians is my favorite DAC (along with
Sleeping Beauty).

Then 2008 will be a good year for you.
2006 was awful. But it made it all worthwhile when TLM:PE finally came out.

Yes, lol, this will be a good year for me. I was shocked when I discovered that my two favorite films of all time were being released within the same year. I'm counting down the days till' both releases. But it's probably the only good thing about 2008 for me.
Yes, 2006 was a great year because of Ariel.
The Little Mermaid is one of my most beloved films (it was released the year I was born), and Ariel has always been one of my favorite characters. I'm glad the DVD made your 2006!

I still feel like that they will edit Cruella De Vil's smoking, as per Disney's banning of smoking last summer.

Hopefully, the beginning of 101 Dalmatians will have an ad not to smoke instead of editing the parts were Cruella De Vil's is smoking. Disney would have to edit out to many parts.

I thought the new ruling only meant that smoking wouldn't appear in 'new' Disney films, and that previous smoking scenes from earlier films would be left alone?

And you know what'll be worse besides Snow White's new Soup Scene? Cruella's smoke will be replaced by Walkie Talkies! I think Disney's the new Steven Speilberg or the new George Lucas.

According to an article I read somewhere online, Disney Home Entertainment head, Dick Cook claimed that Disney will no re-edit smoke scenes in past disney films cause they were made way before this new code. So fear not of the smokes scenes from 101, Pinocchio and Dumbo being re-edited.

Disney Stores will begin taking preorders for this title beginning Monday 1.15.08.
The obligatory lithograph set will be available with preorder (in limited quantities) and includes 4 scenes from the film.
Select Disney stores will also be offering a Gift With Purchase--don't have specific details on this item yet, but from the very brief description I assume it's a collectible tin lunch box. Some stores will have it available for free (with purchase of the DVD) and others will offer the lunch box for $5 with purchase of the DVD. The retail price listed for the lunch box is $24.50, so even having to pay $5 for it seems a pretty good bargain to me.
Disney Stores are also receiving quite a bit of new 101 Dalmatians product this week. Just an overview of what I've seen so far: new mini-plushie (with fireman's hat); large Penny plush; canvas poster; kids snowglobe tumbler; PVC set; souvenir-type stuff for kids; and various Home decor product. However, some stores may not have this product displayed yet.

Lunchboxes shipped in Friday. They are normal lunchbox sized, and not the miniature version you often see in the collectible market. (No thermos included though.) Very colorful and handsome-looking lunch box.
Correction on the retail price: $19.50.
Stores have received limited quantities of these: less than 50 per store. As stated above, they are either a free gift with purchase/pre-order of the DVD or $5 with purchase/pre-order, but it depends on the Disney Store location which offer is available.
Also, don't expect Disney Outlet stores to be taking pre-orders as they generally don't carry DVDs at all.

I don't think so.
62 min is very probably the sum of all the separate video clips that are included in the total set-up of the game. It contains all the multi-choice options and dead ends and menus which you don't necessarily see at all or don't see
in toto when playing.
For instance, an animated menu on a DVD may have audio and video, say, for 2 minutes, but you don't see or hear it all if you make your choice in ½ minutes.

in toto is Latin for "in its entirety".
Anyway, I'm still concerned/annoyed that there's over an HOUR of clips simply for the games. These games are either very complex and well done...or just a really long game. And when was the last time Disney actually delivered a complex/well done game that merits an hour of clips? This kind of stuff should be reserved for their Trivia DVD games (like the Disney Dogs and Disney Princess ones that came out earlier).
(Still, I know I'm likely gonna play each game in its entirety, simply to acknowledge and appreciate the creators' work, however hard or slovenly it may have been.)

There is a portion of the website that is hidden to users. The only way to unlock the hidden portion of the website is to find all of the hidden puppies. On each page "Downloads", "Games", etc there are puppies and some wagging tales. Click on the wagging tales to find a group of puppies. Find all 101 of the Dalmatian puppies and you will unlock a portion of the website. This hidden portion has extra downloads such as wallpapers, buddy icons, screen savers and more. It's nothing to big, but it's fun to unlock it.
