I saw TWO Disney movies today

Hunchback of Notre Dame: Very, very powerful film. I don't actually think I've seen the full movie(until today, of course). I saw parts of it when I was little. Mainly the beginning where Quasi's mom is trying to save him from Frollo and where's he getting humiliated at the Festivals of Fools, which turned me away from the whole movie until recently. I felt horribly for Quasi even though things turn out for him in the end and in the sequel. But my favorite character would have to be Esmeralda(hence my avatar). She was such a strong female character. I'm think I'm gonna watch it again tomorrow. It's probably become one of my top ten Disney movies. Overall grade: A

The Jungle Book: This was extreme nostalgia for me. While watching the movie, I kept thinking to myself "Oh yeah! I remember that part!"Compared to other Disney movies, it's kinda anti-climatic. Not to say that the fight with Shere Khan at the end wasn't climatic, but it wasn't like at-the-edge-of-your-seet kinda thing. It's one of Disney less serious flims in my opinion. The beginning was fast paced. The middle was great but the ending went on too long for a little bit. I don't know. Maybe I was a bit
sqirmy when I watched it. I should probably watch it again. Overall grade: B+

I feel like watching Aladdin tommorow so I'm probably gonna do that. I also might watch Pirate's of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl because I might see Dead Man's Chest on friday. That's if if it isn't sold out

I watched my Laserdisc-copied-to-DVD-R copy of "Song of the South" today, but I really get angry while watching it, because I know that the powers that be at Disney will find some stupid reason to never release this one to DVD.

Also watched my un-edited version of "Melody Time".

Well even though my marathon plans fell through, me and a couple of pals are still going to see DMC @ midnight, so we've been watching COTBP at my house over and over again since around 9:00am. :P

Cheers,

Agreed. That was definitely Kevin Smith at his finest.
If he screws up Clerks 2 I am going to be very very mad

Yesterday I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which was really good, and now I'm watching Monsters Inc., and I like it better now than the first time I saw it.
