I'm not too sure how reliable this is, but I found it on the IMDB LMIII homepage.

It appears that Parker Goris's (the new Flounder) mother is replying on the board. Here are her replies:

curious where the cast list came from. Some Errors. Sally Field is definetly in it, but not Ariels mother. Someone much more important in the story! You will all be surprised, it is fun knowing the truth and reading the speculation!

well as most stories go, there is always a villian or villianess!

my son is Flounder and I really don't think I am supposed to say at this point. What I can tell you all though is that they rewrote the story 3 different times over the past 2 years. Sally field was not in the first version. that link to the script is completely bogus. Maybe someone submitted it at one time, but it definetly was never recorded, nor is it anything even remotely close to what they are doing.

What I can tell you is the wikepdia is totally screwed up on the cast list. (yes I am Parkers mom) a lot of those characters are from #2 and are not in it. We are actually going to record a leap frog kids game (as flounder) next week and I am going to ask what I can say. It is a different department than the movie, so they may not have an answer. Another thing, this movie is directed by Peggy Holmes and she is fantastic and a singer and dancer herself, so she really has a knack for musical bits.

i don't it's true,if it was disney were not making the question of ariel's mom in the disney princess dvd game world.

There's a lot of errors in her writing. One would think that if she was serious, she would have used proper spelling and grammar - especially since she sounds like she's trying to come across as a little stuck-up. "MY son is playing Flounder, and that script is completely bogus."

There really hasnt been anything on this movie for a long time; do you think its being geared up for major promotion for in the Summer, when there is supposedly going to be the new trailer?

mybe they are making this a promotion for the summer for the disney princess franchise?.

This movie is going to be huge for the Disney Princess franchise anyway, whenever they release it. But this will be the first time for a while that they don't have a Princess DVD going Platinum in either March or October. This will be conpensated by Cinderella III, Enchanted Tales, and The Little Mermaid III.

I wonder if they will promote the new movie along with the new musical stage show?

hmmmm,enchanted is going to be realesed soon inseted of a platinum edition.
mybe they will promote that,too.
i remeber in the little ariel forum that says that disney in making a new little mermaid doll line.

The Enchanted Tales dolls must be coming out soon, with their new golden look.

There is loads of Aurora stuff in the Disney Store, which I presume is all aimed towards getting hype for Enchanted Tales.

Not true. They confirmed on the GameWorld that her mother will be in Mermaid III.

not the last direct to video, but it will be the last (sportively) direct to video Sequel. they will still continue to do spin off franchises like the tinkerbelle movies.

but i notice in the series that her sister are so mean to her,shame on them .
hem,mybe they want to make aurora stuff beacuse this the first thing she had since sleeping beauty and jasmine has series and sequles.

Someone on The Little Mermaid forum said they saw a mini-fan with Ariel and two of her sisters on it. They also said where the platinum edition logo was, instead of "Platinum Edition" it said, "Ariel and Her Sisters" So this is probaly a new line.
