In related news, the BVHE press site has added a "Blu Ray" column to their upcoming releases, although nothing has been slated for release in this format yet.

Funny the links for bvhe.com.au that are always provided never seem to show listed titles, not sure why though. But I use http://bvhe.com.au/news instead.

Anyway, has anyone actually heard if Big Trouble is going to be re-released or if the current disc set is the one around for now (Region 4).

BVHE has also added a re-issue of The Little Mermaid II - Return to the Sea to the schedule. It seems identical to the original R4 release at the moment. I imagine the only differece will be the new OFLC logo on the cover.

MRA will be releasing the first season of "Road to Avonlea" (as seen on he Disney Channel as "Tales from Avonlea") in March.

MRA have a distribution deal with Kevin Sullivan Entertainment. They have also released the "Anne of Green Gables" miniseries.

I doubt Big Trouble will be re-released i'm sorry.

Buena Vista here have a knack for re-releasing the same non-animated things over & over again for no real reason.

Like Armageddon or Remember The Titans Platinum Edition.

It wasn't posted on this particular page- at least as far as I could see (besides the posters for Peter Pan) so I just figured I'd write it encase. And I only used caps to show how exciting it was. Sorry if I repeated old news just making sure it was out there and everyone knew.

Last I heard the states weren't getting it till their Fall 2007!
( which is Australian Spring )

So we'll have Jungle Book before Little Mermaid III is out.

Can't help but notice neither of these are on the BVHE site yet.

I wonder if Ezy knows more than Disney...

We (I work for EzyDVD) have always had a really good relationship with Buena. I remember our website was the first to put up the release dates of Lady & The Tramp and Little Mermaid so it's not surprising Peter Pan is the same but yeah it is a little confusing that it's not on Buena's site. Maybe they are designing a new fresh website. The current one is a little boring.

Cool, I didn't doubt Ezy's schedule because we (DVDBits) often rely on it for schedules and new releases. However, BVHE have changed their schedules without notice before and admittedly, the lack of info on their site is nothing new.

I guess we'll know come March!
