We are actually getting a lot of wind and snow, but it's nothing we can't handle (ie, no relief event needed).

For your information there are parts of Ohio that were hurt by Hurricane Sandy, so don't classify what Romney did was anything political, it wasn't.

How come ObaMao can act this quickly for Sandy victims, but he ignored the cries for help from Benghazi? Read about it here:

http://www.boortz.com/weblogs/nealz-nuz ... said-what/

Even more reasons to vote this despot out of office, come November 6th. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. If you have friends or loved ones in the Armed Services overseas, they will be ignored just like the Libya massacre people were.

"Vote for the Mormon, NOT the MORON!!!"

No offense but our citizens in our own country should come first for ANY president.

I didn't see any countries rushing over to help us after 9/11, Katrina, or Sandy.

No offense taken. But we have American servicemen and women in foreign countries and he needs to be aware of their needs also.

It has been well reported and documented that the White House watched for seven hours the massacre in Libya and then the President had the balls to come out and first tell the American public, "I am looking into it", when asked about the deaths of four Americans.

I will not vote for someone who stands on his record of lies and failures and thinks because he reacted to Hurricane Sandy in the correct manner he would be good for re-election. Why isn't he out there physically trying to help those underprivileged people like Miss Romney is doing now.

To me that speaks volumes about who I have voted for.

I think most rational people would agree. Republicans foam at the mouth whenever Obama does something unequivocally right, because they were determined to make the black man a one-term president the moment he was elected. :P

Let's hope all those roadblocks conservatives pushed through in some states for African American and other minority voters made them more determined.

Gary Johnson's 5% goal sounds reasonable, and I'm all for taking down the two party system. Baby steps.

^Agreed. we all should've listened to Sam Adams' opinions about a party system.

Have you forgotten that Obama is not Black - he is "mulatto" - one white parent and one black parent. We still have not had one true black man in a higher office. If Herman Cain had continued to run, we would then have had a true 'black' man in the office of President of the United States.

Almost four years of failures is not a very good record for Obama to stand on. He promised in 2008 (and I voted for him then) to lower the jobless rate - FAIL - he promised to get closer to a balanced budget - FAIL - he promised that there would be no more additions to the National Debt - FAil - I don't understand where this man deserves to have a second term.

Why does Eric Holder still have a job?

Why hasn't the President disclosed what really happened with Solyndra and A123, and what happened to all the millions of dollars he invested in them to keep them running?

Why haven't we been told the truth about the massacre in Benghazi? This is the one black eye that Obama will carry with him whether he gets re-elected on not.

It will all come to a head next Tuesday, as the voters get their chance to have a say and to persuade the Electoral College to get a new person in the White House.

I have already voted, and as a registered Democrat I am proud to say that I voted for an all Republican ticket.

Hope all of you who live in the path of Hurricane Sandy are okay. I have seen pictures of the destruction and shudder to think at how much it is going to cost to rebuild. I agree totally with Gov. Christie that President Obama acted quickly to get the disaster relief and FEMA into the areas that are needed. We have had a prayer chain going at our Church for the past few days and it will continue until we see a light at the end of the tunnel so that those affected by this storm will slowly be getting back on their feet. I personally wish that I could be there to help feed and cloth those who have only their shirt on their back, and hope that everyone stays well and safe.

IMO our troops do not belong in other countries. Do other countries come here to right wrongs? Would the American people put up with military force from outside our borders telling citizens what to do? I support our troops, I do not support the governmemt reasonsing for them to be overseas.

Again I ask...where were the other countries in 9/11, Katrina or Sandy?

Until there is no mpre starvation, poverty, homeless etc on OUR soil we have NO business telling other countries how to be better.

I don't think we should tell any other countries how to be better even if we have a perfect society on our soil (lolll). The reason we do is because america was founded on imperialism and colonization. We like sticking our nose where it doesn't belong to make us look more powerful in front of other countries.

On a more uplifting note, here's a heartwarming picture of Obama comforting a woman affected by Sandy.

Race is socially-constructed. If you saw him on the street--you would treat him as a "black" man.

Perfectly stated.

People like to bring up biology in these kind of discussions a lot, but really, most (almost all) isms are targeted at minorities of socially constructed groups.

^this and if what they say is true, then the first people on earth were blacks in africa, then effectively on a biological level, nobody is true white, or brass skinned, or latino.
