I think the movie wouldve been even better if they werent so afraid of making it "scary" like the first film. Their wanting to make it so kid friendly is what brought it down in quality some.

Why Animated Views makes this Ariel special if they hate The Little Mermaid so much?.
Oh,and Atlantica-Many movies were beaten by Ariel when her film's Platinum Edition was released.

That's not really saying much. What Happens in Vegas isn't even that popular.

It's actually saying a lot when a direct-to-video animated film is selling better than a theatrically-released live action film, even just a moderately popular one. And
What Happens in Vegas has grossed over $200 million world wide.
Er, not that I've bothered to see
Vegas.

I find this very weird myself. On one hand, I admire that even when they have this special feature going on and interviewed many wonderful people behind the movie they still gave the movie an honest review. It takes a lot of journalistic integrity to pull that off.
On the other, it feels hypocritical of them to make the movie more special than it is simply because they got a big news story for their site.
In short, I admire that even when they interviewed the people behind the movie they still gave it an honest review. So many reviewers are easily bought with "gifts" from the reviewers that its nice to see people stand by their integrity.
But...if you are going to trash a movie anyway why act as if it was something special?

I agree with you.
Well, they seems to dislike this movie since they first heard about the plotline.
I"m,for example, not exited for Up,and if I ran a website like that and didn't liked the film after I have seen it,I whouldn't make a special like that on the film.
And I don't think that Jodi or anyone who have been interviewed for that whould like the review, espically after those interviews.

The title in Belgium and the Nederlanths is:
De kleine Zeemeermin: Ariel, hoe het begon.
Translated, it is:
The Little Mermaid: Ariel, how it began
It blows.

Lol, better than the german^^
"Arielle, die Meerjungfrau- Wie alles begann"
"Ariel, the mermaid- how all began"
Disney Germany simply loves to put the main charakters in the titles
(The Rescuers = Bernard & Bianca) but they ususally take the original title if it's based on a tale or famous book. Thanks to God we did not get "Quasimodo the Hunchback" or "Aurora, the Sleeping Beauty"

Polish:
"Mała syrenka III: Dzieciństwo Ariel"
It means "The Little Mermiad: Ariel's childhood"

It's funny how Disney titles are different in all different countries; I thought it would make sense to have the same title all over the world, to make it instanly recognisable. Or do they have different titles, as they don't all translate into various different languages ?

Yeah,over here it's called Ariel's Story.
I guess they wanted to be creative

Your new set is lovely Ariel's Prince, it's just that I'm not a particular fan of that sort of clip art of Ariel, or indeed any of the other Princesses particularly. But good job on your creative-ness though !

I"m really glad you like it and think so

.
I always make new ones

,I usually use things from the Disney websites and other website like Amazon

,for this I used a poster from the Printstation website from the Disney UK website (They now have Little Mermaid section for Ariel's Beginning).
Oh,and have you seen Ariel's Beginning yet? or it wasn't released in UK yet?.
