I would say it's probably a bootleg. As others have stated $17 is way too cheap for an sealed copy of an OOP DVD.

The Good: The DVD in the picture is authentic.
The Bad: The picture is used by most e-bay sellers instead of the stock photo as proof that what they're offering is indeed authentic.
The Ugly: Many get fooled into thinking it's the real thing and buy it, then get a bootleg in the mail.

101 Dalmatians Limited Issue was badly transfer to the DVD.
I have a copy and the color is the same just like the VHS.
So probably just wait for the 2 Disc 101 Dalmatains: PE in 2009..hopefully it will be release 2009.

You probably didn't know this but when purchasing a bootleg, the buyer can unknowingly be supporting terrorism and/or organized crime. Other than the fact that it ruins the point of collecting, it's also giving money to criminals.

Yeah, you've gotta hate people that snipe auctions. There was a Mickey's Magical Christmas auction that I bid on last week where I got outbid by 3 different people all trying to outsnipe each other in the last minute. Ended up find another copy of that DVD for a lot less than what the ended at.

Congrats yamiiguy on your Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pick-up! A Disney DVD collection is never complete without that one.

You do know that the Limited Issue is exactly the same as the Gold Collection, it's just got different cover art and banner name, right?
There's a lot of words there, but they don't mention anything about it being authentic. For all we know, the phrase "The dvd pictured is the actual dvd you will receive" could mean that picture is a very good bootleg. And looking at the seller's other DVDs for auction, about half of them have a bootleg cover (Cinderella, BATB, Sleeping Beauty) while others use the same stock photo of an authentic DVD (with top barcode sticker and front and rear views).

My God...what the Moist? I had no idea! (Moist is my favorite word now

)
Wow...I'll never buy a bootleg again, I already own a pirated 101D, I think I won it for about a dollar or something, nevertheless, had I known what that money was going to I wouldn't have!

Now I feel like a terrorist

I'll buy the genuine Disney release though, I'd just wish they'd hurry up with it, don't rush the restoration, but hurry up!!!

No doubt about it that it's authentic. It even has the Buena Vista stamp.
