Sooo... it's been mighty quiet around here lately? I trust everyone has got their copy of Cars by now (people in Australia that is), and that those of us that ordered the special 2 disc tin are stoked with our luck
What do people think of the cars dvd? Personally I felt it was a bit light on, and as expected, the bonus disc seemed fairly cheap, but on the flipside, the EzyDvd tin is much much better than I could have hoped for and we actually got a removal dvd guide
Anyone heard anything about Peter Pan yet? Should we expect to receive it same time as the US, and the important qstn, everyone agree that it would make sense to order from the US before it's released so that we don't miss out on the small features we have on the last couple of platinum releases?
Thats about all I have for now

Happy Pug told me (in another topic), that we should expect the "Peter Pan" PE (along with "Cinderella III") released here at the end of February/beginning of March.

I like DVDs
Hey BluRay is here!
And although the player is like $1,300, don't be too discouraged, and by no means rush out to buy one.
The picture is lovely and crisp.
So imagine all your favourite ( recent though they may be ) Disney movies on fresh, crisp BluRay!
Buena Vista/Disney stuff is coming out Feb next year, just in time for the PS3 release.
So lets get excited!

Thanks very much... I purchased yesterday.... So, basically the 2 disc version in Australia looks like it is the exclusive Walmart edition from the US.

Yes, but with the ever-reliable EzyDVD tin (I swear they must have a deal with the TinMakers Union of Australia).
Hi, Tony! Nice to see you round on the ol' boards.

Nothing to do with Australia of course,
but here's the trendy
Japanese Nightmare Before Christmas Coffin Gift-Set
that was released over there last week.
It's kawaii!...( super cute )
Above, Jack is tuckered out so having a rest in his coffin...
Above, we open it up to see Jack reclining comfortably, even with a copy of his own DVD, complete with its on cover & disc inside.
Super cute, said the wife.
Above, Jack comes with a nifty Postcard, a little cardboard Autenticity Number and of course his little DVD for him to watch when we're asleep.
And finally, Jack visiting relatives in my daughters bedroom.
In the Nightmare Before Christmas section as it were.
Its cute hey?
Everyone should get one.
It's only 8,100 Yen ($88AUD)
Bargain!
A great little collectors item, so don't forget to buy two.
