Thank you for sharing Sotiris !

Elsa’s outfit is not that great on this one... Compared to what she was used to wear in the first movie + shorts, it is a bit underwhelming I think

I just wish their outfits looked more correct for the time period(1830s/1840s.) Its one of the things that bothered me about the first film.

Thanks for confirming. It's a shame our first look was from a leak but Disney has no one but themselves to blame. By now, they should have released a teaser poster, a teaser trailer, and the first images on USA Today or EW. Instead, they gave us nothing for a film being released less than a year away.

I like Anna's outfit, specifically the colors, but Elsa's really is a letdown.

Same. While Anna's outfits worked really well, Elsa always seemed really anachronistic and that hasn't changed with her new look.

I'm surprised so many like how Anna looks in the new picture. I think her looking more "mature" is the reason since so many here seemed to hate her in the first film. As someone who actually liked Anna, that's probably why this ain't doing it for me. I don't mind if the character grows, but that can happen without changing her entirely.

I like Elsa's outfit even if it isn't as sparkly as the ice dress. It looks much better than the outfit from the stage musical.

I didn't hate her even though her bubbly, adorkable shtick was a bit much at times. The same goes for Rapunzel too. I just like it when animated characters grow up both physically and emotionally. You get to experience these characters' progression and see how they look at different points in their lives. I hate it when animated characters stand still in time, especially after multiple films or seasons. For example, I enjoyed seeing Ariel as a mom despite the sequel's flaws. But I realize this is an unpopular opinion and most people prefer their animated characters to remain unchanged.

Elsa's outfit is indeed a bit underwhelming (though better than her Broadway pantsuit). It's just kinda plain. It needs a wow factor. Her spring and winter outfits were much more impressive.

Skyler Shuler of The DisInsider confirmed that the villain for the sequel will be male which means Sterling K. Brown's character will probably be it.

It's funny how history repeat itself with the first one and about the same timing as the first one too. For some reason, these designs are being released everywhere, but the USA. It's a bit too early for a teaser poster, a teaser trailer, and the first images on USA Today, but I wonder why Disney released everything to EW, except Frozen 2.

Damn, Randall Pearson isn't taking that evitable divorce well :P

All in serious, YES  And it sounds like this is Disney's first straight villain since Gothel. Here's hoping to a great villain song.

Agreed. It seems like they're making the same dresses for her over and over again. Yes it's gorgeous, but enough with the blue and the ice. Give her something different like the green and pink colors in Frozen Fever. Again, blue/ice makes sense since she's the Snow Queen

We got the basic plot:
There is a Russian description of the movie and translated it says the story is about Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf going far in the forest to know the truth about some ancient mystery of their kingdom.

I guess for me there's a difference between maturing and having a personality transplant. I think people here are just hoping for the latter.

I don’t think it needs a wow factor. Having a dress that drags the ground doesn't make sense for traveling anyway. I like it as much as Anna's travel clothes, which naturally weren't as pretty as her green dress meant for dancing, celebrations, etc.

And I didn’t like Elsa's spring outfit at all. Anna's was even uglier.

finally an idea of the story! Im such a dork I got chills reading the description! :P Though I admit I was hoping they were going to the Southern Isles.

more info, yes! I'm not surprised that we're getting another male villain, though I think its still too early to say its Brown for certain.

btw someone on 4chan mentioned that Elsa's outfit looks like a superhero outfit with the boots and the cape. I doubt that wasn't intentional, lol,

Thanks! I like Anna's coat. It looks very period-appropriate.
disneyprincess11 wrote:We got the basic plot.
The ancient mystery must have something to do with the Hidden Folk. Lopez teased about them so I think they'll import the concept of their mom being one of them from the Broadway show. It would explain the bigger role she has in the sequel.

I would like if the sequel addressed the Hans situation. You can't just imprison the prince of a foreign country, without a trial no less, and not hear anything from them or have any sort of blowback. This is the kind of stuff that causes wars. It would be nice to see his brothers and their dynamic with Hans on screen.

Now that you mentioned it, it does look like it. I'm also curious about those (cherry tree?) petals flowing around. It's weird to see that during the fall/winter.

I'm hoping the male villain is one of his older brothers. It would be the perfect way to address this and bring Hans back. Maybe the older sibling decides to accomplish what Hans couldn't. Hans could come back assisting him.

just found this out on this tumblr blog: there's a writer that's been hired to work on a novel that will be a bridge b/w the first and second films. Adds fuel to that time skip theory(still hoping its not 6 years though.)
