I know I'm totally flooding the board this morning but I found this

http://www.campbellskitchen.com/Resourc ... Rebate.pdf

Basically, a $5 rebate with the purchase of these Campbell's products.

It was actually connected to another link:
http://www.freebies2deals.com/2010/10/4 ... aydvd.html
But that person seems confused... they said you don't need your UPC codes for mailing, but at least one form specifically asked for it from what I could tell. However, check out their link anyway, as it has info on a charm, a Campbell's coupon, and I don't know about that other deal they claim is at Target.

I got curious about other vendors I hadn't thought of, like Sears, but their price listed online isn't any better than the others. Then I ended up finding this stuff.

Well, it looks like I'm back to holding this release off.

I tried printing out the coupon on computers in the campus library but you have to be an admin to install Coupon Printer and I tried connecting my laptop to the library printers with no prevail. Very frustrating stuff I won't go into. I guess I'll just see if I can get it this weekend maybe or just hold it off till after the holidays.

Thanks to Aaron for posting that wonderful review it made me glad to know that double dipping for blu was worth it. I agree that if you're going to get just the dvd it's totally not worth it. Thanks so much again :D

Thanks, I'd actually gone looking for that after I posted! :)

I did just call my local Walmart and they said yes, they will price match Toys R Us and accept the $10 coupon on top of that. So, unless they had no idea what they were talking about, I should be getting Beauty and the Beast on Blu/DVD with the Tangled movie pass tonight for $12.99.

So excited! This is my first release day purchase. I'm looking forward to getting on the board tonight to see everyone's first impressions and reviews come flooding in! :)

No problem, I just got back from getting the deal myself! :D And I absolutely love buying things on release day! 8)

Should I be concerned? I'd hate to open it and it not have anything and it turn out that this one Wal mart didn't get them and I opened it and can no longer return it. Anyone ? Thanx!
It's not inside the package, the offer is actually on the outside in the form of a sticker. You peel the sticker off, unfold it, and there's a code inside with instructions on how to redeem it. So I'm afraid if you don't see it on the outside of the package, it isn't there.

Got my copy of the Blu-Ray at Target this morning (I got a copy that did not come with the free CD). They accepted the 10 off coupon so the dvd came up to about $15 (including tax).

Cannot wait to watch it tonight during dinner!

Ugh. Well thank you for the info. I'm gonna check another Wal Mart in town.

Will Walmart price match if I printed the Weekly Ad from Toys R Us?

Walmart will price match but I think you need to bring in the physical Toys R Us sale paper. I don't think they will accept a printed ad, as Walmart's website says they cannot price match internet pricing or something along those lines. I guess you could try it, but it's not a guarantee :(

I just got my combo pack from Toys R Us and oddly enough Cogsworth is the character on the spine...not Lumiere...or Beauty and the Beast... and this is on both sides of the slipcover and the blu ray case

BAH! :x

I guess if I still had my Plantinum Edition it would've complemented it since Lumiere is on the spine of that one...still come on!

Was Cogsworth on every copy of the Combo pack? That does seem kind of weird, but they had Lumiere on the Platinum Edition, so... Disney is so schizophrenic sometimes.

I wonder if the high dollar amount makes certain managers too nervous to accept them at their stores. I haven't ever had any problems with Walmarts accepting these coupons before.

I don't know, but now I'm pretty upset. The lady said that they had a meeting about how people make fraud, like making them and stuff. And I asked her if all walmarts are doing that and she said yes, the corporate. Hopefully toys r us won't do this.

Hey, I just came home from my local WalMart. If there is a rule like this, my cashier was unaware of it. She scanned my coupon and then looked at my DVD. She said she had to do a double take because at first she thought it said $1 off, not $10.

You know where you got your coupon was legit so maybe try it at another WalMart, anyway. I don't know how quickly this new ruling is being spread. Good luck where ever you go.

I used my Campbell's coupon and plan to send in my Proof of Purchases from my 3 Campbell's Disney Spaghetti O's to get my $5 mail-in rebate. It does not require UPC code, just proof of purchase for those worrying about removing the UPC code. And in addition to that, I plan to buy the bagels and redeem a separate mail-in rebate for $5. I hope I didn't interpret the bagel rules incorrectly... it literally says UPC and then goes on to say where the PoP is located, but does not actually ask for the PoP. Hmm. I know it all sounds silly, but we eat Spaghetti Os and bagels anyway so I figure I have nothing to lose. I think we can go through two bags of bagels between now and Dec. lol If all else fails, you can get $5-$10 off without the manufacturer's coupon.

How did you manage that? Was that with some other DVD purchase/special?
