I watched "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time" again last night. I've played it many times now and always really enjoy it.

I watched "The Perfect Getaway" in theaters. It dragged at times, but I enjoyed it and appreciated the plot twist.

Fierce Creatures

Great comedy with John Cleese and Kevin Kline. I think this is a brilliant parody on today's merciless greed of giant corporations, which buy up little companies to milk them as fast as they can and then throw them away. In this film, it happens to a zoo, and John Cleese tries to stop them. The first hour is the best, after that it gets weaker because it gets more sentimental.

I saw Away We Go in theatres the other night... loved it! A really cute, warm, funny movie and great actors in it.

Legally Blonde I had seen the end, but never the whole film before, and we just so happen to have it on DVD(one of the few my sister forgot to take with her to college) I think it's nice. I'm a guy who will always go for the chick flicks that stand against social injustice and discrimination. Plus, I like the dog.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off I'm visiting my grandparents and my uncle, and I was at my uncle's apartment and saw this. I'd never seen this, so I asked to borrow this. I loved it! It's such a great film, and it pretty much yells "EFF YOU!" to the public school system. Ahaha. I will definitely be picking up my own copy soon.

The curious case of Benjamin Button For the second time, a DVD rental.

I still like the movie, but unfortunately the only extra on this 'rental version' is an audio commentary. I really would like to see some background material on 'The making of'.

Maybe I should place the 2 DVD edition on my wish list and ask it for my birthday.

Funny Face with Fred Astaire, Kay Thompson and Audrey Hepburn. Love this movie; which in my opinion is one of the greatest Hollywood musicals. Kay Thompson steals the entire show and Audrey is adorable.

Only angels have wings

I loved this classic Hollywood drama! It has a very low pacing, it takes a long time for something to happen, but it is great because of the acting performances of Cary Grant and especially Jean Arthur. And what I love most, is the interactions between all the characters. It all seems very sincere, which is quite unique in those old Hollywood pics, in which often, false sentiment prevails.

Ghost World - Oh, I loved this! I usually love movies that are esentially about nothing, yet leave you enthralled. Fantastic performances by Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson.

I still really need to see "Ghost World". Sounds like my cup of tea.

Haha, it truly is a great piece of work. It's reminiscent of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion and other dry/witty-humored movies. I'm tired, so that probably made no sense. Verict: watch it.

Beautiful Ohio - This was the first IFC film, that I know of, I've seen. It was beautifully acted, especially by Rita Wilson, and Michelle Trachtenberg, who really surprised me. I reccomend everyone seeing it!

Monsters Inc. - Another great work from Pixar. Can't wait for the Blu-ray release (ON MY BIRTHDAY )!

Disney's Cinderlla

One of his best films, but I'm irritated by the much too obvious rotoscoping done in Cinderella's and Tremaine's animation (of course the artists later said they 'interpreted' the live-action... yeah sure!). The film is saved by the fantastic voice cast; the lively animation of Ward Kimball on the cat and mice; the comic interaction between the king and the grand duke; and of course the lively story with a most likeable protoganist.

I watched Uncle Buck yesterday. I thought it was a pretty good comedy, but there were parts where it dragged.

Last night I screened a double feature:

The Craft: I love Fairuza Balk in this supernatural thriller which combines evil hocus-pocus against a teen angst highschool backdrop. One of my all-time faves.

Misery: Kathy Bates is the "number one fan" whom James Caan wishes he'd never met, after his car crashes during a snow storm. Now stay perfectly still whilst Annie performs a hobbling...

Race You to the Bottom - This was a sweet little Indie flick, starring Amber Benson and Cole Williams, with extended cameos from Danielle Harris and Just Hartley. Amber really surprised me, showing that she can portray a character with depth, humor, and other emotions. Recommended!

Funny Girl: I love the restored DVD version, but I'll bet it'll look doubly spectacular when Columbia gets off their a** and releases a Blu-ray. The restoration of FUNNY GIRL was in part instigated by no less than Barbra Streisand herself. After requesting a new print of the film for her personal screening room, lab assistants discovered just how badly damaged and worn the original elements of the film were.

Although the second half of the movie drags the pace, it's still an electric experience to see Barbra, in her very first role, the one which cemented her fame on the Broadway stage (and indeed the performance for which she's still most famous for today).
