I haven't seen 'Belle' yet, but everyone was very impressed with her performance.

Note how young Emma looks on that photo. After having seen recent interviews with her, she looks ten years younger. But she's cute, though ;)

Babette. Though I'm not sure if it's a name change or just a mistake (I'm hoping it's the latter).

The objects of Beauty and the Beast will be CGI :/ This worries me.

From what I understand, the feather duster did not have a name in the film. She was called Babette in the Broadway production. This movie is not strictly based on the Broadway show, so I think it is appropriate to give a different name to a character that was nameless in the original film.

It's going to be Robert Zemeckis's motion capture again I just know it.

Acording to McKellen, Hattie Morahan is in the movie, as well. Any guesses? Enchantress?

Oh my God! I adore her!

Well, the china girl looked amazing in 'Oz, the Great and Powerful'. So, I'm not worried.

I don't know her (although looking at her filmography, I must've seen her in some of those). Going by her appearance, I'd guess either the Enchantress or the Bimbettes who fawn over Gaston.

Actually, I just had an idea--it'd be a nice touch if they had Angela Lansbury play the Enchantress when she first appears to the prince as a hag. I doubt that portion of the story will be told with stain glass like in the animated film. Just a thought.

I'm sure they will put effort into the CGI (although it could go either way considering how ugly some of the things in Maleficent, AiW, and OtG&P were), but I'd rather they were slowly turning into objects, tbh. They'll have to work hard to adapt the designs from the animated film and plus you see less of McKellan and Thompson. Oh, well.

Considering how much Mars Needs Moms tanked, I doubt Disney is even going near that well again.

As Old Fish Tale said, the China Girl in Oz was impressive. I think the filmmakers will find a nice medium for the CG and I think it's the logical route to take. People in costumes works on stage, but I'm not sure how that translates to a feature film.

Praying that it will be more like the broadway show….I always loved the additional songs 'Home' and 'A change in me' more than the songs that made it into the movie :P

Here is Emma Watson, singing (Starts 0:42-):

She has a good voice and she does have a nice vibrato and it does remind me a little bit of Belle.

I wonder if Tony Jay would've play the part if he were still alive.

That was unexpected. He's so much younger than Thompson and McKellan. But I do like him, so I'm hopeful he'll be good in the role.
