Hes been missing from the bonus materials on DVD sets for some time now. Does anyone know why he isnt doing interviews anymore?
Because he lives in London and Disney figures interviewing the Sherman Brother that's still in California is enough?
Then again Disney was able to get an interview with Patrick McGoohan (though I don't know if he went to them or they went to him).
Perhaps he's just not interested in doing the interviews anymore, especially since he'd probably have the same stories as Richard.

Oh I had no idea he lived in London. Thanks

Sorry if this has already been talked about (it probably has with 22 pages in this thread alone), but I figured it's worth mentioning and couldn't find it after a cursory glance.
Did anyone else notice on the Walt Disney Treasures: Annette collection, on disc two after watching the bonus special "To Annette With Love" the end credits says that "The Horsemasters" is available from Walt Disney Home Entertainment for purchase and or rent?
We obviously know that is not true now, but could this be a clue as to what Disney has remastered for a possible release this year?
My guess is a DMC Exclusive coming up

I noticed that too, Disneyfella. I hope it is getting a release, as I've always wanted to see it. It's probably one of the best known movies from the Disneyland series simply because of its Disney star power.

I did notice that and thought it was strange as well.......especally because Escapade in Florence wasnt mentioned along with it. I didnt want to get my hopes up tho and take it as a sign of an upcoming release. Its a great movie...I hope we see it on DVD soon.

Uhm, with $130 shipping to Australia, I don't think that's quite a bargain

If it would have been me, shipping to IL would have been $5.99.

If I had the money, I'd try to make an offer. But I'll have to pass now.

I hope you don't live in the US, because most likely you won't be able to play those discs.

Region free players still tend to play the DVDs in the same encoding though, so I presume you have a TV/monitor that can handle PAL frequency okay? I have a region free player here in the UK, but when I play any American DVDs, they are still output in NTSC.

Just think, one good quality re-release from Disney Home Entertainment would significantly alter the asking price of these WDT Dr Syn sets that are going for $200+ as an asking price right now of the second hand market. I'm SO happy that I own this one already. However for the sake of those fans that don't have it yet, I really hope DHE put that re-release out at some point. Even a digital release, while not ideal, would go a long way in lessening these second hand prices!
