What DVD information? All I found was the "Walt's Words" bit and the music videos. I think we're also gonna get a poster gallery, based on the pictures of movie posters seen in the page.

no offence Big Disney Fan but tbh I think you're being arrogant, you say that that is a list of US bonus features yet as Escapay pointed out, the Christmas Show was only on the UK press release, yet the BBFC doesn't list it, so it has zero chance of coming out, and as for you saying that sometimes there are bonus features between UK and US discs, the chance of the UK getting less than the US in this release are also nearly zero because Peter Pan is a British tale

and as for my question, does anybody know if the El Capitan show is on the disc just with a different title? because by reading it, it sounded like something I watched on the Aladdin Special Edition

and does any money go to Great Ormond Street hospital for this release? or any mention of them at all for any fact because they have full Copyright of Peter Pan until the end of 2007 as far as I know

But where do most Disney DVDs releases begin in? The U.S., that's where. So I think the chances that the UK and US not getting the same bonuses are pretty slim.

What I meant was that you're being arrogant because you refuse to believe that BVUK made a mistake and the Christmas Show won't be on the disc, I will apologise if it is

Doubtful, as Dumbo and Lady and the Tramp had the same type of engagements at El Capitan and they were no-shows on their DVDs. Pity too, as it would have made a GREAT bonus feature based on what happened in the report. So far the only title to get that treatment (besides Aladdin, which was at the Hyperion Theatre in Disney's California Adventure) was High School Musical, and that was just a fluffy 2.5 minute featurette about the stars and other celebrities gushing about the film on the red carpet.

The Christmas Show is NOT on the Scandinavian release according to people who've bought it.

Looks like a skimpy release, IMO.

So, I've had some time to look at the bonusdisc... And Im sorry to say IM DISSAPOINTED! Only about 83 minutes of bonus features !!! The so called making-of documentary only lasts 10 minutes, and was even produced in 1997! This release does not feel like a Platinum Edition at all... Maybe it could be pulled off if it was labeled SE, but the small work Disney has put into this release does not IMO justyfy calling it a PE...

The menues are not that special either...

If Snow White PE is the Marilyn Monroe of Disney DVDs this is nothing but a skank!

well think about it this way and it won't hurt as much, it is called SE in your country

Well, that's a shame... But maybe the Walt's Words bit and that one on the pre-WWII Peter Pan concept could make up for it.

I second your question. Is there any old Peter Pan trailers at all? Maybe the Original 1953 one? If there aren't any at all, I will be severely dissapointed. This would be the second PE to not feature any trailers, with the first obviously being The Lion King. I really enjoy the old trailers (they are acutally my favorite bonus features!) and all the other films from the 50's have their original trailers on their 2-Disk SE's. Why can't Peter Pan?

How depressing.

If this is any indication of what we'll see for The Jungle Book in October, that means that the 1997 laserdisc featurette will be their main making-of doc as well. Boo to you, BVHE, boo to you!

Oh, forgot to ask. How are the still galleries? Are they the same as the 2002 SE or did they improve them and actually organize it better?

I think this will officially be the worst PE to date...The Lion King and Cinderella will look like treasure troves compared to this. You know, I was just thinking wouldn't it be interesting if the 2-Disk Aristocats turns out to have more (and better) bonus features than Peter Pan? And like Escapay said, I'm now dreading what will become of The Jungle Book. I feel like Disney has stopped caring about their Platinum line since all of the "big name" films have already been released. (Snow White, BatB, TLK, Aladdin, Cinderella, LATT, and then finally TLM). But, then again, TLK is reguarded as one of the biggest dissapointments in the PE line, which was then followed by Aladdin. So, maybe Disney will get their act together and give us a fabulous Aladdin-ish release for The Jungle Book after a crappy Peter Pan..?? But maybe that's just asking too much from Disney now-a-days.

Really? Thus far, this sounds weaker than "Sleeping Beauty", plus "SB" didn't have the Platinum Label to live up to. Or it could just be that I love "Sleeping Beauty" too much.

Yeah, but at least Sleeping Beauty had trailers, a restoration featurette, several relevant pieces from the Disneyland Series and its release ("Four Artists Paint One Tree", "Peter Tchaikovsky Story", "Grand Canyon"), and a series of smaller featurettes focusing on specific aspects of production ("History", "Music", "Design", "Backgrounds", "Live Action Reference", etc.). All Peter Pan gets is what damn well better be two great featurettes ("In Walt's Words", "The Peter Pan that Almost Was").

I shudder to think what they'll do to the Still Galleries for Peter Pan. Only 60 images were in its original SE, while Sleeping Beauty's held over 500.
