Aurora has the keys to the kingdom

Disney has updated their Enchanted Tales website once again. You can now watch a preview of Aurora's new song "Keys to the Kingdom". The catchy song is nothing special. Aurora sounds nothing like she did in her cherished film, where she was voiced by opera legend, Mary Costa. From the song we can see that King Hubert, King Stephan, The Fairies, and Aurora's Mother the Queen, will all be returning, along with a plethora of servents.

Wow...can we say "overdone?" Sleeping Beauty was never a lavish Broadway-style musical. It was operatic, neither of which is reflected in either the song (which I admit is kind of catchy) or the choreography (I've never seen Aurora bounce around so much in my life). I also find it bizarre how Aurora looks like she's flat-out belting the song, even when her voice isn't, leading me to believe they did the animation first for this instead of the voice work. That said, the animation looks nice and fluid, a definite step-up from the sneak peek on the Cinderella III DVD. Thanks for sharing, Disney Villain!

ughh aurora is now ruined like cinderella..totally different personality in this episode!!! but i like the jasmine one it looks similar to the original movie.

DONT MODERNIZE THE CLASSICS!

Her voice sounds better than in the previous clips. I don't understand WHY they couldn't use the original of Mary Costa. On the DVD, her speaking voice at least, still sounds GREAT for Auora!

On another note.... here's the new Enchanted Tales brass key dolls!!!! Don't ask me why Ariel isn't there.... or Jasmine for that matter.... considering she's on the first volume....

WOW!!! That looks so cool!!! The animation, the voices, the songs... all perfect!

I just pre-ordered it at the amazon.com!!! I can't wait to have this and I really hope that there are more volumes of Enchanted Tales.

ok other than that, it's alright. Merryweather's voice is horrible and not fond of Stephen's either.

Haha, I thought the exact thing about Jasmine's bit, too, Super Aurora. Overall, this is actually looking pretty decent. Some quibbles, though:

* I still don't like hyper Aurora. I always thought Aurora looked, sounded, and acted like a 24 year-old instead of 16, but here she definitely seems more like 16, and I mean that in a bad way (no offense to people on UD who ARE 16, mind you; I just mean she's acting more childish and, dare I say, modern).

* While Jasmine generally is herself, I think the Jasmine we know from the original wouldn't let a bunch of kids terrorize her. She's way too strong-willed and level-headed for that.

* King Stephan is way off. He sounds like a weaker version of the king from Cinderella (probably because it's the same voice actor from Cinderella III).

* Do these girls have ANY other wardrobe pieces besides those? They're princesses, for Pete's sake.

Besides those things, though, I have to admit this still looks kind of fun, and more easier to swallow than a full-blown sequel since this doesn't have to be looked at as canon. Plus, the animation is very well-done.

Disneykid, yea it is the same VA that did the King from Cindy 3. It was poor and weak and same goes for the faries as well.

Yes she does. Notice how she moving her hands together like every evil villian does, plus the red eyes and evil grin adds to it.

Well I don't see why everyone thinks the animation is good. Mostly Aurora , but also Jasmine, are way off-model. Aurora's face and hair in the original were a piece of art, now it's a piece of junk. Her face reminds me of Madellaine from Hunchback II. And this is not good, obviously. The hair, all stuck together like plastic. Yuck. And Jasmine. Can't they get her eyes right? And the hair that is always strange, nothing like the fluid movement it had in the original. Her body is too small, it looks like her breasts are not even there while in the original she had the most beautiful boobs. HOW can you people be satisfied with it?? Or is it just me? Am I going crazy for no reason? Please let me know!

it will be in the first volume i think,mybe each pricess will have 2 stories (so they can put let's say Cinderella and Ariel or Snow white and Belle in volume 2 insted of let's say Aurora and Ariel or Cinderella and Jasmine in volume 3).
