This is absolutely ridiculous. What she is wearing is not appropriate for a queen! lol
I really wanted something similar to the coronation outfit, or even what her mother was wearing.

I like Anna's vest and outfit in general, my only problem is the sunflower pattern, it looks really ugly lol.
Also, why is Kristoff not wearing his ending outfit? That's more fitting of spring.

I have a feeling like they didn't have enough time to design new outfits so they had to render and change some stuff from the previous outfits.
If you looked at my photos I posted earlier you can see Disney hasn't exactly been treating Elsa like a queen.

I don't know why Disney always copy off the original designs in the shorts (aka Rapunzel's wedding dress. Which is the same exact dress she wears in Tangled, but white). At least, Anna's dress is different. Big shock: Elsa's dress is the same, but it looks beautiful!
b/c with CGI its much easier to just reuse the same model's dress pattern and just change a few details/colors. With handdrawn you had to redraw a whole new dress. And what big animation studio wants to pay for the time/effort to do extra work these days?

Pfft, that's what they're going with? Anna's dress looks the same but with a bolero jacket added on top. And Elsa's just gotten short sleeves.

What about these concept dresses? They'd work wonderfully with a Spring theme:

Btw, off-topic, but I love your avatar! It reminds me of a picture I happened across while Google searching of Ursula, Lady Tremaine, and Scar with that same lyric written underneath. So cute.

Look Elsa's dress is ripped. How long until that dress melts?

Okay, here's something that's just so bizarre, I have to share it. There's an unlicensed (yeah, no kidding) iPhone app where your child can give Anna a virtual C-section, or perform brain surgery on Elsa!

PS, a spoiler; The blu ray release of "Beauty and the Beast" is mentioned and notice that the Beast is once again referred to as Adam.

Seeing those animations irks me. Disney should've done those hand drawn.

do sunflowers have any sort of cultural significance to Norway or Scandinavia? I always associate it as Pocahontas' flower.

Snow White-apple blossom
Cinderella-?
Sleeping Beauty- pink rose
Ariel-?
Belle- red rose
Jasmine-lotus
Pocahontas- sunflower
Mulan- cherry blossom
Tiana-? maybe Louisiana's state flower?
Rapunzel- whatever that magical flower was
Merida-?
Anna/Elsa-?

sorry for going OT, just some of the silly princess things I tend to think about...

I have the German 3D version, and it's region free, so I think it might play on a US PS3. :D

I can't think of any cultural significance of sunflowers in Norway, but perhaps in other Scandinavian countries? Denmark perhaps? (Although the rosepainting (rosemaling) is of course traditional Norwegian art). I guess the film directors/design team liked the idea of sunflowers. Perhaps because a flower named after the Sun gives associations to Summer, and that is in direct contrast to Elsa and her Winter magic?

Btw, Norway have two flowers declared as "national flowers", bergfrue (Saxifraga cotyledon in latin) and røsslyng (Calluna vulgaris in latin). Both are far from "pretty" flowers like sunflowers and magnolia;) Both are mountain flowers. http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norges_nasjonalblomst
