I guess we all know about the sing along release of Frozen by now.
I've read some things that suggest that this DVD version has the real making of feature....
What a kick in the face to everyone that bought it when it first came out.
Amazon.co.uk has a feature titled 'Breaking the Ice' which I think was the name of the making of feature before Disney dropped it.

http://www.rotoscopers.com/2014/03/13/f ... -features/ This explains how 'Breaking the ice' was dropped.

Has anyone read/heard anything similar?

If this is the case, will be beyond annoying ! But Disney are playing the game well; they'll get the general mass market as it will be a 'new' version of the beloved film, but they will still get the collectors if they add in the missing making of bonus feature. I don't agree … but I guess well done Disney for thinking on that one

Apparently it is only a six minute feature which makes this far from a a double dip essential. 20 minutes I'd have said yes.
I still think this should have been put on the original release but I don't work for Disney.

It's such a disgrace that Disney don't bother to give their releases proper, in-depth bonus features. To quote Escapay's own words; "I miss those days when Disney releases had more substance".

Like a few other members on this forum in the US I've been resisting the temptation to purchase this film in any currently available format in hopes of a more comprehensive release.

Recently I received the 3D+2D+DVD+Digital Copy edition of Tangled in the mail from DMR which really served to remind me of how unsatisfying the current blu-ray edition of Frozen is.

For a company that seems to be edging away from the realm of physical copies, Disney sure isn't shying away from the old double (possibly triple) dip routine.

Would anyone here recommend importing the UK 3D combo pack or would it be a better bet to just wait and see what the future holds at this point?

It's good to see Tiana on that video as well. I guess Disney isn't as ashamed of her anymore.

Love the 8-bit Frozen!

That Elsa dress is hideous though! I'd burst out laughing at any bride walking down the aisle in that. The other two were pretty nice.

Sounds like the Broadway musical is making major process. I'm thinking that it'll come around 2017-2019

I would think 2015-2016, honestly. They probably want to strike while the iron's hot.

Not even close. (Not trying to sound mean) Musicals take a while/long time to make. It took 3 years for each TLK and BATB. Disney needs to extend the plot, write new songs, find out how they will do certain elements like the snow powers and the ice castle. They just started late 2013 and right now, they're finding directors. And of course, they are pre-Broadway tryouts like what Hunchback is going through right now. We should get a date next year.

It's okay. I was just thinking they might push the show to be created as fast as possible, even if it might hurt the quality.
