I wonder what role Amy Sedaris character has in the plot ?

Also will one of the hyenas be mute ?

I know they cast three voice actors and it would be strange if one of them just did laughs

Box Office Pro projects Lion King will earn between $180 – $230 million over its opening weekend and make approximately $650 million domestically by the end of its run. If this estimates hold true, Lion King would top all openings for Disney's live-action remakes, a spot currently held by 2017's Beauty and the Beast. That movie made over $174 million on its opening and grossed over $504 million domestically in total.

The highest opening of the remakes was always guaranteed for TLK. Maybe they'll top it in 10 years when they make the live-action Frozen.

I predict it'll do even better than projections. But how do they "track" how well a film will do anyway?

There was an article on Facebook, saying that it's a big possibility that The Lion King could also surpass Endgame at the box-office. I don't really know about that. I mean, Endgame was highly anticipated, and everyone was talking about it since last year's Infinity War. The Lion King is popular, sure, and I think it's gonna be very successful, maybe even more than the animated film, but I think it will be very hard to surpass Endgame. That one is still doing great, even now, a month after its release.

Yeah, that's the only remake that could top The Lion King.

Lion king will do better, but I'm expecting a worse movie.

That's the problem when they try to make the animals as realistic as possible....and then they try to talk like people and it just falls apart.
