Agreed. It was a mess. Both Gael and Miguel were off-key and the entire performance looked uninspired and disjointed. They should have used Carlos Rivera's version of the song for the Oscars.

Oof. That was bad. Either Gael was sick or he is naturally extremely off-key and breathy. The new lyrics were random and off-putting. Poor Anthony was robbed from the attention he deserved.

Congrats to Coco for winning Best Animated Film at the Oscars! Nice to see the camaraderie of the cast.

Just nearly cried tears of joy for this movie!

Glad Anthony got to be on stage, but...

"Hey, sorry you didn't get chose to sing. Say one sentence." Anthony Gonzalez deserved so much better tonight. He should have sung tonight.

I'm not sure how they decided who gets to sing, but maybe he didn't want to. It can be pretty daunting at any age to sing to an audience like that, but especially if you're a kid.

Remember Me actually won Best Song. I'm pretty shocked about that.

Are you being sarcastic or serious? Remember Me was the front runner throughout the Oscar season. I fully expected it to win (not that it deserved to). But I'm used to Pixar getting awards and praise they don't deserve.

No, I'm genuinely shocked. I thought for sure This is Me would win. Didn't it win multiple awards?

It only won the Golden Globe, if I recall correctly. Everyone knows the Golden Globes aren't good indicators for where the Oscar will go. The Oscar buzz this season was clearly favoring Remember Me.

I wasn't paying much attention to Best Song so I wasn't aware. I think Let It Go didn't win the Golden Globe either, so that's also a sign. But it did to me anyway that public interest was in This is Me. Everyone was counting down for the performance, plus it had the advantage of being from the makers of La La Land's songs.

Pixar is back front & center. Coco joins Brave & Inside out as original Oscar winners for Pixar this decade. And with 2 soon to be billion $ sequels upcoming & 2 original features in 2020, Pixar has never been stronger. WDAS best get they're act together!

I thought Remember Me was a really beautiful, emotional and touching song, so I'm happy it won. Robert Lopez has also become the first double EGOT winner, having won three Grammys, three Tonys, two Emmys and now two Oscars.

Next year should be interesting. Toy Story 3 aside, the Best Animated Feature Oscar hasn't exactly been receptive to sequels and that's all Disney has this year. I have a feeling Isle of Dogs has an edge. The Grand Budapest Hotel did really well at the Oscars a few years ago and there may be a push to finally give Wes Anderson an Oscar. Directors primarily known for live-action, such as George Miller and Gore Verbinski, have previously won the category.

As a hardcore Sufjan Stevens fan, I was kinda hoping Mystery of Love would win for Best Song, though I knew Coco would probably take it.

I adore Natalia Lafourcade. She was the highlight of the performance. Gael and Miguel were off key though I agree. And in Miguel’s case that’s kinda weird. He’s a decent singer. Nerves maybe?

I liked Coco a lot so I’m ok with the win.

Perhaps Pixar won't be as hesitant in making a full-fledged musical now.
