Wow, these bulk street dates are going to tough on the wallet. Right now, Cinderella and Little Shop of Horrors are my October priorities, but Pete's Dragon and Hocus Pocus are def going on my To Buy list.

This must be the extended cut edition featuring the alternate ending where Pete goes on a rampage!

I'm excited to see what the Blu-ray cover art looks like for Pete's Dragon. I wonder if they will just recycle the previous DVD cover?

The Gold Collection cover would be nice as the blu-ray cover with some additions here and there.

I agree! There is no way I can afford all of those blu-rays on the release date! I hope they are $5 each lol. Knowing Disney now, I doubt it.

There are 6 blu-ray releases! Then more releases after that! What the heck??? :(

Disney Home Entertainment is trying to release all of the Animated Classics and as many major non-DAC on Blu-ray as they can before they stop making physical media. They seem to feel they have only a few more years and by the end of the decade, it will be all digital. Frankly, while I agree that is where we are heading, I disagree with their time table, but whatever. Once these titles are released, they will be there at least once we do all have money for such things.

Which sucks but one comforting thing will be is there will always be a niche for physical mediums. They will never completely go away. Good thing too.

Anyway, I've been putting money away for these new releases. Already have next week's covered.

Just a slightly off-topic question,
but didn't know where else to ask this:

If I were to order Blu-rays from 2010/2011 through Amazon or any other online retailer, how big would the chance be they'd still have their cardboard slipcovers. I'm talking about movies like Princess And The Frog and Alice In Wonderland (1951) for example?
