Ah *insert curse word* why did Disney replace the current actors for Owl/Eeyore and Rabbit (possibly from what I read) they should've stuck with ALL the current voices for this film, minus Piglet (RIP John Fiedler)

Bud Luckey kinda sounded like Ned Beatty (alil bit) but Bud seems spot on for Eeyore's ORIGNAL voice (Ralph Wright) I just hope they'll bring Gopher back, he was one of my fav. characters.

I may be crazy, but I liked Tom Kenny as the Rabbit. And the new voice for Eeyore is perfect if not as good as the original. I can't wait to see this movie.

Well here's the answer for the lack of Peter Cullen as Eeyore voice...It has to do with being Prime at Optimusness

Too fricken funny, I kinda thought it'd all serious... well to each his own, just wish he'd go ahead and cap his Pooh career with this film...

I know I"m trippin on the voices but I like my old characters soundin the same or at least close to the orignal.

Still think Winnie The Pooh would do bet'ter as a mid Spring film.

That trailer was really nice. Craig Ferguson was jarring at first, but I think he fits well enough. I'm more worried about Rabbit (my favorite), who we didn't here anything from in that trailer. Hopefully it'll be fine though.

Also, I thought Christopher Robin looked much younger. I prefer the older design, tbh, but the new one isn't that bad (even if it reminds me a bit of Taran). What made him seem younger the most was the voice--I've never heard him sound like a 7 year old before.

And I was wondering where everyone heard Zooey Deschanel? I opened that link, but didn't see a video or anything...

So, will the original Pooh release get a BD release to go with this?

I hope it'll get released concurrently with the new one's BD just because it is impossible they are able to get one out by April where everyone else gets Pooh Bear.

I do hope it is announced and comes out though because I'd love to rewatch me some Pooh before. I didn't end up watching TS1/2 before TS3 but wow was that a great movie and of course nostalgic as ever at the end.

Pooh is no Toy Story seeing it doesn't really have an overarching storyline but that's okay.

I think it will do well OS that any potential losses it makes in the US going against Potter will be offset.

One thing I really did not care for was the new voice of Owl, yugh!

This. I was shocked at how young he sounded...I mean, he is young, but especially his last line in the trailer...just sounds really young.

So excited for the Eeyore-centricness of this. OMG his tail...so funny!!!

To comment on the whole "Christopher Robin looks different" thing. I'm probably in the minority when I say that his new design is MUCH better. Remember, this is Disney's adaptation. Christopher should therefore look like other Disney kids. In my opinion, he now finally does:



I made this little image that shows how he in my opinion blends in perfectly with the other Disney kids from that era in Disney animation. It also shows how well the animators have captured this moment in history, resisting the urge to make things new again They could have given him the facial details of Cody (Rescuers Downunder) young Hercules or baby Tarzan with crazy amounts of detail in the eyes. Instead, they've gone for 60s/70s era character design.

Just rewatched the trailer, and I really gotta applaud Disney. When I first saw the trailer for Tangled, I was a little on the fence, and I did not like the trailer for Cars 2, but I absolutely love this trailer. I will be seeing this opening day.

I wonder if Disney is making a pattern here. Tangled trailer had "Trouble" by Pink, and now for Winnie the Pooh we have a song by Keane. Are they trying to appeal to popular culture? lol

P.S. This is no disrespect towards to the songs. I have always loved Pink, and Keane is awesome. I like "Somewhere only we know" and "She Has no time"

I was being facetious. I try not to post comments that are completely submerged in sarcasm.

I really hope this doesn't stay versing Potter. Really? As the previous poster said - do they NOT learn from their mistakes?

They really must not want their hand drawn animation to do well in the box office.
