And those ticket prices are kind of high. My local theater is $5 before 6pm, and $7.50 after. Although your popcorn/drink prices are a lot better than our theater. I usually just buy a movie ticket when I go...
Good to know, maybe I will like it after all. And yeah, it's really bad, plus there's not much of a price difference between going to a matinee and a night showing.

Anyways, today I went to FYE in hopes of doing some trade-ins, and there was a sign on the door that said "No used buy backs today" - just like it did last time I went. I got fed up so I asked an employee when they would actually start taking some trade-ins again and they said that next weekend they should be doing it again. I think that they haven't been accepting trade-ins because there is an FYE and Saturday Matinee in the mall (the mall is literally connected to the parking lot of the FYE I went to), and those 2 stores in the mall are closing, and they are shipping over some things to that FYE. I saw tons of used things I had been looking at and intended to buy in Saturday Matinee and FYE at the mall, but their used section was almost gone. When I looked at all the used things in boxes behind the register, I recognized some of them as the ones I was going to buy at the mall and I helped myself to

The Truman Show: Special Edition $5.99
I have no idea what the difference in the 2 DVD releases of The Truman Show are, but my friend was raving about it so I decided to pick it up, since it was only $6.

One has special features and the other doesn't. :P

The original release just has trailers, the SE has 3 featurettes, 4 deleted scenes, a photo gallery, the trailers, and tv spots.

Ok, thanks. I haven't seen the original release much (because it's supposedly OOP, but I've seen it new), but when I did it was around $16.99, and I would never pay that much for this movie, especially since I knew I could get the newer edition for much cheaper. The $16.99 price tag really turned me off so I didn't even bother looking at the back to see if there were any special features (Paramount DVDs that were released around that time didn't have any good bonuses anyway).

Does it come with the Theatrical AND Unrated Versions or just the Unrated? Also, is the Digital Copy compatible with iTunes (I know Step Brothers is only compatible with the PSP and PS3)?

A) Theatrical AND Unrated
B) Compatible with iTunes (but takes a super long time to get...)
C) I know it was not asked but the Digital Copy is of the Unrated cut.

Good to know. I like having both versions of the film on the 2 disc SE. And I'm glad that it works with iTunes because I was so mad when I found out Step Brothers wouldn't work with iTunes.

Got this one for the expected 20 bucks. I know it's too expensive, but I couldn't find it anywhere locally for years and it's the first Disney animated release I missed, kicking off my falling behind a little, mostly on direct-to-video releases, which I've only randomly and slightly been catching up on. I actually thought these episodes turned into a movie were more interesting than the real movie itself though, ha. Might have made a good series.

Image

And, for Christmas I got the 3 new Disney Treasures, the boxed set of Holiday Specials that includes the classic sequels to Rudolph and Frosty along with the original Grinch and others, and blu-rays of Cloverfield, Superbad, and Mummy 3. Might have forgotten something too, but I'm not sure. Bought a lot of DVDs for myself before Christmas too, ha.
