Saw the Brave teaser before Cars 2 (I'm very surprised it's not online yet). Unlike the other Pixar teasers, this is very dramatic. So, for those who don't care for the goofiness of Cars 2, this will likely be serious Pixar.

Antz was DreamWorks, not Pixar.

Yeah in the concept art she looks about 17 or 18, the age I expected her to be. In the screenshot she looks more like 12.

I really hope the teaser comes out soon!!

I'm guessing it was in front of "Cars 2" in 3D? I saw the movie in *gasp* not 3D, so I didn't see the trailer. Sad, but I look forward to see it once it hits the net. I'm really excited for "Brave" so far!

Good point. I didn't see it in 3D which is probably why I missed it.

I don't think it matters if you see it 3D or 2D, its all about the theater. I heard this same stuff was happening for toy story 3. I didn't get a cars 2 trailer (saw TS3 in both 2D and 3D) but other people did. the trailers must be optional. They need to attach them to the movies themselves so there isnt any confusion like this.

I doubt that. Isn't red hair a recessive gene? I'm pretty sure both parents have to pass it along. :P
No both parents don't have to have red hair to pass it along my cousin got it from his father ;)

I think things look great so far can't wait to see this one!

A little off topic, but is Merida really going to become a Disney Princess? How do we know this anyway?

Not sure how it's going to work but I'm sure she will be added into the line as long as all is successful with the film

There was a link that had the story that Disney was going to add her. Upon looking for it, I can't seem to find it anymore. Maybe they changed their mind? Don't know.

However, Disney has a whole special day to add Rapunzel to the line up:

A few Pixar employees have tweeted that the only way to guarantee seeing the Brave teaser is to see Cars 2 in 3D. Also, I'm surprised no one has said anything about the Lion King 3D preview??

Someone has uploaded the teaser. Not the best quality but it's something.

<iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wgW8UYKR18Q" frameborder="0"></iframe>

It seems there will be a bear in the movie. Wonder if there will be any similarity to the story Snow-White and Rose Red. Maybe the bear is a prince?

I am not a fan of Merida's face. Love her clothes though.

DAMN!!!! Even in the poor quality, I have a sense of its epic awesomeness. If anything, this teaser is already a break in tradition from what we expect from Pixar. Remember the teasers for Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and Ratatouille that had two characters arguing with each other trying to set facts straight? Or how about the Incredibles where Mr. Incredible tries to get his belt on right? Those were all humor-focused and didn't really give us a sense of the atmosphere that we were going to be getting or any real mystery which makes sense since they're all comedies. But this is so dark and mysterious that it makes you wonder what it is that's really happening.

...........WOW. That teaser was AMAZING! -foams at mouth with excitement-

And seriously, what on Earth are you guys smoking? Merida is gorgeous. If a girl's not superhumanly perfect she's ugly? Hmmm

I caved and watched. The guy obviously never heard of the row in front of him, but anyway that Trailer.......I may just have to watch it again before I can comprehend the awesomeness that's been claimed for it.

It reminds me of Brother Bear.

My thoughts exactly, and I'm a little afraid that if she kills the bear and turns into one this movie will get slammed for it. I love this teaser though, all of the design looks amazing and something really new and innovative except Merida. I just don't understand why her face is so wide. Even a chubby face wouldn't look like that. Pixar's human designs just bug me though.

Saw the trailer before my 3D showing of Cars 2. It was the last trailer before the movie.
