In the past month, Disney's released some big movies on DVD, Best Buy has had amazing prices, and I joined the Disney Movie Club. I haven't spent this much on Disney DVDs since I first upgraded to DVD three or so years ago. Since October, I've bought:

Best Buy:
The Parent Trap (2 Movie Set)
The Apple Dumpling Gang (Special Edition)
Summer Magic
The Fox and the Hound (25th Anniversary)
The Little Mermaid (Platinum Edition)
Cool Runnings
Snowball Express
Flight of the Navigator
The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes
The Strongest Man in the World
Classic Cartoon Favorites: Best Pals Mickey & Minnie
Cars (Widescreen)

Disney Movie Club:
Treasure Island
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Saludos Amigos (finally I upgraded it to DVD)
The Three Caballeros (ditto)
Toy Story (ditto)
Toy Story 2 (ditto)
The Great Locomotive Chase
Classic Cartoon Favorites: Best Pals Mickey & Pluto
Classic Cartoon Favorites: Best Pals Donald & Daisy
DuckTales: The Movie- Treasure of the Lost Lamp
Dinosaur (Collector's Edition)
Johnny Tremain
Davy Crockett (2 Movie Set)

Other:
Babes in Toyland (Amazon)
Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Collector's Edition) (Amazon)
The Country Bears ($1 with my gift card at FYE)

I'm not rich, and I don't work- selling random items on eBay and Half.com is a great way to get extra spending money...

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds Live on Stage Special Edition 2 Discs PAL
Excellent. This really is an experience, a mixture of CGI projections, live props, live actors/singer and a total of 58 musicians, all conducted by Jeff Wayne.

I'd love for this to become a proper special effect film - with Martians invading period Earth! The second disc is a meaty documentary and additional special features.

QI The Complete 1st Series 2 Discs PAL
Well, the box lists lots of feartures, but the last three seem to be the same feature - extended branching to extra Quite Interesting facts. Oh well, it doesn't matter because the show is as entertaining as ever.

Just for Ichabod I'll say "Eddie Izzard is surprisingly inactive in the untransmitted pilot", but its probably still worth getting just to see Stephen Fry loosing his rag with and shouting at Jimmy Carr in one of the deleted scenes.

The Da Vinci Code 2 Discs PAL
Apparently the solution is 42.

Peep Show Series Three PAL
I really didn't like Peep Show series 1, and I still don't. But I loved series 2. I hope I enjoy series 3 as much as I did S2.

Ross Noble - Randomist 4 Discs PAL
What a bargain! Look at this list of features, highlights from a year long stand-up tour of the UK and Australia:
Disc 1
* Ross Noble - Randomist
* Encore
* Show Commentary
* Intro Film
Disc 2
* Ross' Highland Fling Documentary
* Live in Melborne
* Show Commentary
Disc 3
* Australia Tour Documentary
* Live in Stoke
* Show Commentary
* Interactive Quiz with...
* ...Live in Birmingham reward
Disc 4
* The Randomiser - Use the randomiser to see more live footage from the tour played at random.

Little Britain: The Game

Another DVD game, but this is actually well put together. Very funny too. Watch out for Anne crashing into Round 5 and stealing your points!

There's over 1,000 questions and rounds such as:
Name that Gay hosted by Daffyd - Kenny Craig's Mysterious World - A Question of Royalty with Judy and Maggie - Kid's Telly Fun Quiz with Des "Wicky Woo" Kaye - Carol Beer's Travel Quiz - FatFighters Quiz with Marjorie Dawes - Guess the Feemtoon with Dennis Waterman - Vicky's No But Yeah But Game - Charades with Sebastian Love - ... and more!

And yes, Luke will be pleased to hear Ray McCoony is in the game!

Spaced Invaders - Something about these movies that take me back to my childhood I love. Actually anything that reminds me of my childhood I love despite the fact it wasn't all great. I was a little over 4 (16 years ago) years old when this movie came out and haven't watched it for a long ass time. Now that I got it I simply can't wait to watch it. :D

I love this movie, you got Captain Bipto and the crew trying to invade Earth. I would say this is a pretty underrated movie, even though it is pretty stupid... but funny!
