Strange because he didn't have any issues with Pocahontas or Hunchback being animated films. Maybe it's because those films didn't take off as he hoped that he felt Aida was better suited for live-action.

I really appreciated how Aida and Amneris weren't pitted against each other and they actually had a tender relationship.

That was always my hope as well although with the current direction of Disney, CGI buddy comedies/road trip films, I'd rather they not try and even bother. And before you get angry at me like you did when I said I'd rather Disney not make Enchanted 2 if they're going to ruin it like some other sequels they recently made, what I mean is that I value the story so much that it would be worse imo if it was created but ruined by Disney rather than never made at all. You can feel differently on that of course and that's perfectly valid.
