I don't think the kids have to know who Herbie is to want to see the movie. It's kind of reintroducing him anyways. And it's not the Herbie of the old days too

Remember, he's fully loaded

His front bumper turns up in a smile and everything
And I really don't think kids scramble to see Lohan. And the boys and men might not either. First, it's a Disney movie, so no boobs. Second, it appears she wears a racer's jumpsuit in much of the movie, so not hot either
More likely the kids will wanna see Herbie more then Lohan. Yes, Miss Lohan, you've been upstaged by a 30+ year old bug
Anyways, we skipped Herbie this weekend to see Batman

Well hopefully the NASCAR drivers who did their parts for CARS this weekend will bring it more luck than they did fully loaded.

I found Herbie: Fully Loaded a touching movie with Lindsay ...

Well, Herbie has managed a total of 17 million for it's first week at the box office. Eh, those are okay figures, but not what I was expecting.
Maybe it'll pick up overtime, but since War of the Worlds is coming with all the usual Hollywood hype, I dunno.
I'm still gonna see this eventually.

I knew it wouldn't do well! No boobs and who was Herbie again?

It's not like Disney was really promoting Herbie or anything. I haven't seen any ads for it yet and it doesn't have a happy meal. Now if Chicken Little bombs I'll be happy.

Herbie is The Love Bug. It came out in 1969. I direct you to this nice little link.

Ppl Are Not Going To The Movies Anymore Because there not interested..
With A Family Of 5 Here What Happens
- 5 Movie Tickets for a 7 showing will coast 35 dollars.
- Snacks will be about 20 dollars making its total to 55 dollars..
Thats why people dont go it coast too much... Batman Begins is a perfect example of a film.. it had a decent first weekend but it coukld have done better. People though are just waiting for The DVD and they buy it. People are also sick of cell phones and people talkin during movies.. Thats why people dont go
I go to the movies all the time but ppl dont sumtimes....
With war of The Worlds, Fantasyic 4, and Charlie and The Choclate Factory they should be fine with the box office.
When September comes it will probblay be slow till when Harry Potter comes out.

I actually knew who Herbie was. I was just saying that as a joke because my theory was kids wouldn't be interesting in seeing this movie since they aren't familiar with the old Herbie movies.
