My theory is that a death eater, very close to Voldemort, killed Faux and put Dumbledore's soul inside of the body. Then, the death eater put himself in Dumbledore's body. And there is a part in GoF (after Harry has escaped from Voldemort) that Dumbledore has a (happy) twinkle in his eyes while talking to harry about his dreadful experience (or something like that). But, that's probably not even close to what really happens.

I have had that suspiscion for ages, and everyone thinks I'm mad!
My reasoning is the same as yours, about the twinkle, but also in Order of the Phoenix, when Harry is doing occulemency, he flinches at Dumbledore!
It's been 2 years since I read it, so I'll go and see if I can find the quote.
Also who does every trust without pretty much unboubtedly?
Who tells Harry pretty much everything?
I'm still undecided about whether he is evil or not, but it could be a possible avenue.
Of course JK Rowling could be trying to throw us off the scent!

I kinda feel there is a lot that Dumbledore has not told Harry yet. I mean, after finishing book 5 I was like "so the prophecy was the 'big thing' we got to find out'. Was that really all Dumbledore had to say?? There is a reason why Dumbledore cares so much for Harry... or why he says he does, but it doesn't quit become clear why. I do think he dies in this book, giving Harry more reasons to kill Voldie. Everytime a loved one dies Harry grows stronger. Sorta like when his mother died for him, she was able to protect him and make him stronger. But wether Dumbledore is evil or not, I don't know. It sure as heck would be a big shocker. Currently re-reading the first 5 in anticipation

I really agree with you guys on Dumbledore.... I thought I was the only one that thought that stuff.. heres what i think
- I really think that Ron might turn against Harry he might be like Peter Petrigrew... Ron is always jealous of hary (look at 4th book) so he might want to see Harry suffer.
- I feel that Hagrid is going to die... I hope not though because he is my favorite chracter from the book... but like someone said you can tell something will happen because look at the last chapter of 5.
- There is something that deals w/ Dumbledore or Voldermort... they might work for each other... might be the same person.... or might be brothers.
Those are some of my predictions

I kind of see the point of Ron being Jealous of Harry, or is it the other way around?
Rumor has it that someone will die in the new book. Could be Hagrid.
I don't think Dumbledore and Voldermort are brothers. Remember Voldermort is only a half-blood. But they may be related somehow. but I doubt it. I also don't think that Dumbledore is evil. Why would he go through the trouble of saving Harry through the series. I do wonder about Snipe though. I still don't trust him. I also still hope that Harry's Uncle Sirrus finds away back. I also dont trust Harry's Uncle and Aunt

I hope Dumbledore is not a bad wizard in the series. Dumbledore might die in the 7th book but I doubt he will be an evil wizard when he dies. That would be strange if Dumbledore is trying to stop Voldemort from killing Harry so Dumbledore can kill Harry.

I agree. I can see Hagrid and/or Dobby dying, maybe even in book 6. It's possible that Dumbledore or one of the other really big characters will, but I don't see that happening until book 7.

How about Voldemort being in fact good, the scar on Harry´s face being as an amulet done by him to protect baby Harry from Dumbledoe, wo in fac is trying to destroy Voldemort using Harry because he is the only one who have the enough power to do it.
