No, we love the Fannster!
Now, go sit in a corner and think about what you have written.

Fanning!

Dakota! What, is she a state in another life?

I think that the dissapointment (About Lilo's voice changing) overpowered us and made us

We hate Dakota fanning simply because she's not likable, either as an actress or as a personality. She plays disturbing roles. She scares the crap out of grown men. She's EERIE. Fairuza Balk was disturbing to watch as a child. But we still felt for her. Christina Ricci was a borderline psychotic in the Addam's Family movies but we wanted to adopt her. Dakota Fanning....we just want her to go away!
Fairuza Balk was relatively normal as a kid. It wasn't until she got older that she got disturbing to watch. But "The Worst Witch" was a cute movie and she was good in it and far from disturbing. "Return to Oz" was an extremely disturbing movie
but Fairuza herself, was pretty normal in it. But I digress...
I thought Dakota Fanning was excellent in "I am Sam" She wasn't disturbing in it at all. She was very good. I only got to see the first 5 episodes of "Taken" which I really liked, however, Dakota wasn't in the first 5, so I can't comment on her acting, but since I really liked the first 5, I probably would have liked the last 5 as well. (I am still angry that I missed them when the last 5 aired.) As far as her other roles, we don't know if she chooses them or her parents do or what. She might not have total say in the matter because she is a child. Who knows? So, it might not be her fault that she ended up being in some creepy or bad roles. And she shouldn't be faulted because she is a very well spoken, intelligent kid. I'm not thrilled about Daveigh not being the voice of Lilo in the new movie either, but I am not going to sit there and trash the other actress because she got hired for the part. If your going to blame anyone, blame the people at Disney for going out and hiring a new actress for the part.

WIDELY ADVERTISED? I didn't know there WAS a L&S 2 until I saw a post here! Not to hurt your feelings or anything.

I was just wondering... how do you put Stich in your siggy?

Have you people forgotten
The Cat in the Hat? She was NOT disturbing. And she was very cute in the interviews.

And even if it doesn't, just knowing, mentally, that it's someone different doing the voice ... the mind reels. Mine does, anyway. I find this interesting, though. And wonder how it'll work out ...
If Daveigh still does the show ... why couldn't she have done L&S 2, though ... I'm not sure how I feel about that. Even though Daveigh is getting older, et cetera, but ... to have the voice be a different actress ... hmm ...
Seriusley I could not have said it better myself. I mean dont mind that it is a different voice it just seems weird. I know I wont care casue I love Stitch but its just knowing the voice behind Lilo is not the same

its just werid. I hope that it dosnet sound to different from the Origanl moive voice maybe she can desguise it well enough to where I wont mind the difference who knows. I am sure I'll love the movie regardless.

Maybe she's too busy doing the series? *Thinks a bout it* Why the hell did I think of that? It's very unlikely.
It is unlikely, because L&S is the only TV series I know where basically everyone who worked on the movie is also working on the series (instead of hiring cheap imitation voice actors to do the classic characters for a lower price) This is Chris Sanders's baby. I doubt he would want any major changes to occur to it.

Personally, I hate the idea of Fanning being Lilo. The voice is so different, that you notice right away. She does not act that well in my opinion either. They should have kept the original voice

Many users over here started acting like the bitchy users from IMDB
What's the point of bad mouthing a young little girl???
C'mon she is an actress and also a regular person.
Personally I think she's really talented and not annoying, she just turned 11 and she has done some good work by her short age.
If many people don't like her, there's also no reason to "hate her"
Many people seem to hate Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan also...
c'mon there are even crazy people in forums (other forums, not UD ones) the think their opinion is even relevant when they bitch about classics movies like Gone With the Wind or Casablanca
The info about she being the new Lilo is in the "DVD Insider" blooket that came with BAMBI Platinum Edition, check it out.
Please, don't let UltimateDisney forum behavior compare with the IMDB ones and others...
Anyway, I still don't agree with the voice actress change.
Now you can understand how latinamerica fans felt when we got Snow White, Cinderella, Ldy and the Tramp and Sleeping Beauty whit a whole new cast that doesn't ressemble the original spanish audio track at all???
it's infamous!!!

Well...
every opinion is just "Relative"

better validate the source first!

Jens always the first on Disney sequels

put the french cover for Lilo and stitch2:
awful and unimaginative (just lilo and.. stitch.. standing next to each other...where's the glitch?) IMO

I hate that cover! For once I agree with KinOO about something sequel related

Lilo and Stitch are way off character! What's up with the cover artists at Disney? The Tarzan II cover has some characters that are really off too! Btw KinOO, I wasn't first with Tarzan II
