Art subject to change...that's interesting. It didn't say that anywhere else.
I've been taking a more detailed look at the menus, and I like them a lot. My only complaint is that, even though I love the simplistic yet stylish menu screens, it seems like disc two should have a little variety, instead of just Syndrome's computer for a background. Also, will the features be the same for the US version? Because, I was comparing the options on the menus to the BBFC listings, and there wasn't much else on the menu than wasn't listed on BBFC, with the exceptions of the art galleries, NSA Files, and "Who is Bud Lucky?". If that's all that's on disc two, then that means that there is only about 2 1/2 hours of video content. I was expecting a huge DVD considering that it would only have widescreen on it, but first it looks like disc one only uses a little over half the disc (mostly for the movie), and now disc two only uses half the disc. You'd think that they could almost fit this into one disc. Oh, well. It's not that big of a deal.
Anyway, I still cannot wait for this! I've got money put away for December 31, 2025, when I can finally own this myself!

According to USA Today, the "Jack Jack Attack" short takes place within the body of the original film as opposed to a mini-sequel. It's about what exactly happened between Jack and the babysitter while everyone else was on the island. This could be pretty interesting, even if it sort of deflates the humor from the scene in the actual film.

Amazon has generously decided to change their listing. Now The Incredibles is up for pre-order here at 40% off ($17.99), with the proper date though a misleading name:

As always, purchases at Amazon.com through this UltimateDisney.com support this site and help it keep going.
National Treasure is also now up for pre-order (at 35% off) with a release date of May 3:

i just got back from the Wherehouse Music, and they are promoting the movie already, and they have it up for pre-order.
the movie will cost $19.99, but for pre-order you have to put down a $5.00 payment twards your movie, and if you pre-order with them you get a Free T-Shirt of The Incredibles (wile supplies last & size will be either L or XL)
March 15th is still far away, but i don't know if i want to pre-order with them or not, a free T-Shirt is not too bad, they don't show what the shirt will look like, but ???, the Wherehouse is also taking pre-orders for Bambi, you get a free Bambi plush toy with them.

The art is going to change, slightly at least, when The Incredibles wins that Academy Award!
**I'm praying for another
Beauty and the Beast to happen, if ya know what I mean....

ThinkTink lives! Yahoo!
If the awards are on February 27th, I don't think that gives them enough time to do packaging like that at least on the first run of copies to go to stores. Maybe a sticker or something, or if they're really really confident (too confident, perhaps), they could print them up now and keep their fingers crossed.

They could have a batch with alternate covers already made for the initial seed, and the printing plates ready for both versions (like newspapers

) for the rest with the Incredibles kid standing at the ready to insert the correct version and distribute it all over the country at lightning speed

What about the sound-effect track?

Everyone is so gung-ho about this release but nobody took the time to see that they left us without what has always been a Pixar DVD staple.
The sound-effect track. It was in the Ultimate Toy Box, A bug's life and Monsters inc
OK, Finding Nemo didn't have one but that was understandable since the movie took place mostly underwater (not many sound effects, then).
Your thoughts?

I have the first printed review of the UK Incrdibles disc, and as I suspected, there is no Full Screen version on the set. Once again Buena Vista's UK PR company is wrong.

I just read in a FutureShop flyer that if you pre-order you will get (while supplies last) a collectable
The Incredibles tin! Judging by the small picture it looks like a tin like the Walt Disney Treasures line with a different front design. I wish I could scan in a picture but I have no scanner.
I'll definatly be pre-ordering it there! Futureshop is only in Canada.

...but I wonder if other places are doing this like Circuit City in the US?

I normally buy my DVDs at walmart because sometime i can't wait till 10am for Best Buy to open and Walmart is open 24hrs, plus they do have the cheapest price compare to others.l
anyways, this time i am just not impressed with what they are offering because they sometimes offer a bonus disc or something good, here if the Picture from Walmart.com advertising what they are giving with the purches of The Incredibles.

Hi and WELCOME to the forum!

In answer to your question, I looked at Luke's review of The Incredibles and found the DVD Details. This is what I got:
DVD Details
2.39:1 Anamorphic Widescreen,
Dolby Digital 5.1 EX (English, French, Spanish)
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; Closed Captioned
Release Date: March 15, 2005
Two Single-sided, dual-layered discs (DVD-9)
THX-Certified with Optimizer tests
Suggested Retail Price: $29.99
Black Dual Amaray Keepcase with Cardboard Slipcover
it mentions Spanish subtitles, so yes would be the answer to your question.
