Strange Advance - Best Of(dont remember the name)
John Fogerty - Deja Vu all over again
Eric Clapton - Me and Mr Johnson
Jimmy Buffet - Licence to Chill

For christmas I got:
The Strokes - Is This It: very good . . . I like some individual songs from Reptilia better but I like Is This It better as a whole)
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News: so awesome! I like Bury Me With It, and Black Cadillacs, and Ocean Breathes Salty, and the first interlude ("I hope you are dead . . . ") does anyone else have this?
And then I got some gift certificates and used them to buy:
Blanche - If We Can't Trust The Doctors . . .
fljka;sldjoiasfjkla these guys are absolutely STUNNING. Detroitian alt-country band, if you want to oversimplify . . . but they're amazing.
The White Stripes - Jolene (live under Blackpool Lights): I love the cover art and the recordings are good as well.
That's it for now but my list is currently about 40 albums long so I'll hopefully be posting again soon . . .

and it's very deserving, too!
I picked up Razorlight and the Arcade Fire on Friday. Very happy with both of them, even though Johnny Borrel from Razorlight sounds like he's faking a British accent . . . I don't see how he could be, he's from Europe . . .

Joss Stone - Mind, Body & Soul
Finally picked up a copy for cheap... $12.99 at Best Buy. Although I'm not too happy about the silly sticker on it that I can't get off or it'll be forever sticky. It would have been nice if they advertised their phone card thingy as a sticker on the plastic wrapping and put the pamphlet in the CD case instead of sticking it directly on the CD case. Now how do I get it off?

Over the past month, I've gotten several CD's ... and I normally don't get many, but ... for some reason, I have been. Some film scores: Sideways, House of Flying Daggers, Twin Peaks: Fire, Walk With Me ... and, because Thomas Newman is my favorite composer, Lemony Snicket and American Beauty. And then another album from The Innocence Mission. Birds of My Neighborhood. Which is the last of the four that are available ... so, I have all four of their albums. And some ballets by Shostokovich (sp?).
