Animated-Movies.net says that the original title was "Sweating Bullets." Um, ok. I wonder why Disney choose that name?
The still pictures look great! Even though the art style is a little different than what I'm used to, but I like it. The plot sounds funny and interesting. I might go see it if the reviews are good.
I just learned that Cuba Gooding Jr. and Roseanne are providing voices for the characters. I think both of them have really nice voices and are very talented. I'm excited about this movie that takes place on a range.

I believe the title switched from "Sweating Bullets" to "Sweatin' Bullets" and then back to "Sweating Bullets" and then to "Home on the Range" (which happens to be Kansas's state song). I think in the original story treatment, 'Bullets' was the name of a character. It was either one of the cows or the bad guy's name. Disney opted to change it due to the close association with guns or something.

Ok, thanks for the info. "Sweating Bullets" sounds like a funny name for a farm animal.
Home On The Range definitely sounds like a better name for the movie.

this movie looks funny like the Emperor's New Groove but with the PG rating i'm not sure if there is going to be alot of families going to see the movie at theaters. by looking at the results for Finding Nemo i was shocked to see how a G-rated movie can make 300 million dollars in just 3 months. the Lion King took slower than that to make 300 million.

Keep the inflation in mind. Adjusted to current dollars the Lion King made almost 400 million (

) And internationally LK grossed over 450 million. Nemo has so far grossed 100 million outside the US and the only region where it has yet to be released is Europe. So if we're talking about worldwide adjusted numbers Lion King is way ahead of Nemo. Hard to compare the two. And i do think nemo will be bigger on dvd than LK.
As for Home on the range, i don't think it will have a big family appeal... it really depends on how di$ney promotes it. And i have completely lost faith in that.

.......The movie does look promising, i've been looking forward to it!

Wow...I'm impressed. There's been buzz all around that Home on the Range is a superior film to Brother Bear, but I couldn't believe it based on the bizarre plot synopsis for HotR. Well, after seeing this trailer, I've become a believer. I really like the music in this (not surprising since it's Alan Menken), and the animation reminds me of TENG. If this film turns out to be excellent, at least the legacy of Disney 2-D will end on a high note.

This trailer is the single most insane, crazy, nutty thing I've ever seen from Walt Disney Feature Animation - or, for that metter, it's the single most insane thing I've seen ever, period.
It looks BRILLIANT! Can't wait!
By-the-way, there's a high-quality QuickTime version downloadable at ComingSoon.net if anyone's interested.

This seems very much a throwback to animation and stories of the recent past (like '70s and '80s). While there were some pop culture references, I liked the way it doesn't seem to overly try to be hip and current. Really, I feel, from watching the trailer, that this kind of movie could have been released twenty years ago...and I like that. Old is new - unabashedly not-quite-retro. Seemed pretty amusing too, and it's kind of refreshing to see them trumpeting characters rather than voice actors, none of whom I really recognized from the trailer, FYI, despite kinda knowing who's involved.

"They're real".
That line had most of the adults in the Brother Bear audience laughing last night. This one looks pretty darn good.
