#*&@ing Amazon

I ordered the 3 Animated Treasures from Amazon last August. They split my order & shipped Chronological Donald FedEx which should arrive this afternoon. The other 2 just arrived by USPS. MMILC#2 is in perfect condition. OTFL looks like it comes from ON THE FRONT LINES of IRAQ. It was NOT damaged in shipping. The box is perfect & the plastic was wrapped around them very tight. It was packed with the big &#$%ing dent across the upper back of the tin crossing around to the front. I've called & they are sending a prepaid shipping label to send it back & sending a replacement by 2 day delivery tomorrow. With STL & SSS I got the 3 for about $20 apiece but I am so STEAMED about them packing an obviously horribly damaged tin that I could burst a blood vessel. How could they think anyone would accept such a badly damaged piece of mdse.?

So far I have picked up two of them.

Mickey Mouse in Living Color Vol 2. #095,094

The Chronological Donald Vol 1. #157,427

I got Mickey at Best Buy yesterday and Donald today at the Disney Store in my mall. There are plenty of copies of the other ones still there. Hopefully if I can afford it, tomorrow being payday, I will pick up at least OTFL, and maybe wait on Tomorrowland. We'll see.

As always my Disney Store who has crap in inventory (mostly kiddie junk) had them for $24.99 I bought all for the happy total of 108.87! hehe :D I hate the sensor tab on the slip band I removed it but there's a shadow were the tag was. I'm going to call Disney and see if they are offering clean and free replacements of this bands. I also noticed the cheapness of the tins compared to the past waves. For the fellow Disney store-ians take warning that my local store had damaged tins so make sure to check the condition of these!

Serial #'s

OTFL = 129,720
MMILC2 = 21,989
CD = 20,909
TL = 58,437
Let us know if we can get replacement bands.

I was lucky to find them at the first place I stopped, Walmart. They were 24.42 there and they had probably 7-8 of donald and mickey, 20 OTFL, and 4-5 Tomorrowlands. Luckily I have all of them now. I really think Tomorrowland will be a hard one to find, but who knows it may not be that interesting to most people. Kinda like Behind the Scenes tin that I still see available. But believe me, Tomorrowland is worth it!

Um.....they always released the art inside the case. I assume that the treasure box set had them taken out because they were susposed to be limited along with the tin.
I don't know about your past treasures, but the art work for mine were always outside the dvd case, in the tin. It would not make sense for Disney to remove the art if it were in the case already because, for one, the dvd's themselves were still sealed, also the back of the dvd case says art work included, so for them to take the artwork out would be wrong, as the back of the boxes advertised the artwork as being included. Also the treasures in the boxset were not extra treasures that were produced after the first runs, they were repackaged treasures that were left over from before, so i think the art should have been included... but that's just me...

Got all four for only about $17.00 USD each (with my discount) tuesday morning at My local Wal-Mart!!! I went early so they were still in their boxes ready to be stocked. They had TONS of each Tin including Tomorrowland.

Why bother taking the strips off? if they all came that way then removing them only risks damage. Nobody here slips them on and off everytime they watch the film, so just keep in the tin and worry about if you actually choose to sell the discs (when would that be, anyways?)

Its funny beacuse I just got back from there and I got it and it was the 2Disc Special Edition that is only in Canada. But it was $33 bucks Canadian! Also the fact that no other store seems to have got it and the fact that they only had the 2Discer. O well :D

Sorry for the off topicness :)

Finally got mine today, after pre-ordering at Amazon last year. Never again! :x

Now to the good news! It was a real rush to pop open that big box and see a a few rows of shining silver staring back at me. All perfect tins, at least that I can make out, and the Donald, Mickey and Front Lines I opened all had their COA.

Most of these will go into storage for Xmas presents (a year late, but what the hey) along with a set of three for me. I just couldn't bring myself to buy Tomorrowland, just like I didn't nab Disneyland, Davy Crockett or Behind the Scenes last times out.

Received three of my four tins from Amazon. Still not sure why the 4th (Donald) did not ship, especially when you consider I pre-ordered these in August

I found the Disney Treasure DVDs at Superstore today (was surprised to see that they had them cuz I've never seen them there before) but the price on them wasn't that much cheaper than they are at Wal-Mart...I think it was C$24.84 each or something (so it was $1 less). They didn't even have them on the shelf with the other DVDs either. They were in a bin with bargain DVDs and other junk with dividers, but there was a sign directly above them with the price so they weren't really part of the "bargain bin"

Anyone get sensors on their bands that ordered from Amazon? ALL mine have sensors on the bands. Crappy! and my Donald tin is dented in two places. WHAT should I do?

I think you should call Amazon and return it. I included am ticked off at amazon for sending me a dented tin. When I ordered my on the frontlines tin from DVDempire it was a perfect tin (I asked priority for it).
when the next wave comes out this year (Mickey, Pluto) I will order from them. I used to trust Amazon, but I dont see why they are sending all these dented tins! These are collectors items.

What number did you call. I am having a problem with Amazon and what they did to my tins too.

No big problems with my Treasures... They all came with the certificate, lithograph and everything else.
By the way, sensors are the stickers, right? All the four came with them sticked to the inner part of the paper band as well. Since they are not visible, I will let them where they are - I won't take the risks of deteriorating my bands.

My May 14 Amazon order arrived today and all the tins seem to be in perfect condition, certificates, images, booklets and all, so I'm pretty happy. I haven't had any problems with Amazon so far so I think I probably keep using them.
