Yeah I'm getting upset at amazon too. I preordered all but tomorrow on January 6th and they are still waiting to go into the shipping stage. Funny thing is just a couple days ago I decided I wanted tomorrow and I ordered from a different site and it shipped the next day.
I emailed amazon to complain but if nothing happens I'll just cancel my order and buy from the other site. I only chose amazon to preorder because I thought they would be the easiest to buy these from, normally I ignore amazon because I have to pay tax

. But at least I've learned my lesson for the next treasure wave

I had a sudden change of heart and decided to order on May 13 and it shipped May 14. However since I live in Australia the estimate is sometime in June, although with my experience with Amazon, they should arrive before May is out.

I also noticed on the costco site that they raised the prices from $19.99 to $21.99 on the 3 discs. Still no explanation on the site or from customer service on why the Tomorrowland disappeared. But it sure doesn't look promising.

I thought that I was seeing things and that 19.99 from COSTCO was just a figmant of my imagination so I preordered from Amazon because it turned out cheeper.

I didn't notice when costco raised the price, but my confirmation still shows $19.99. So they have done it sometime in the last month, just not sure when. I am still bummed they pulled Tomorrow land after advertising it. Bestbuy is just advertising the 3 on their website too

My amazon order (way back from 8/31/2003) still is not yet shipped. My order is still TOTALLY open and can still be changed. I just sent them a nasty email asking why other people's orders who ordered after me are already shipping. I have a REAL problem with that. Hopefully, they will get on the ball and get my treasures out to me NOW!!

First off, the tins themselves to be of lesser quality than the previous waves. Two of mine have dents on the top edge, but they appear to have been made during manufacture.
The cases are also flimsy. The spindles in two of the cases arrived broken, and Disc 1 in every set was not secured; my copy of "On the Front Lines" is so badly scratched that I need to contact Disney DVD Support or the retailer. In fact, I want to look closely at all eight discs to make sure there are no other scratches. I need to find replacement cases as well.
The tins were all packaged securely, so I imagine a lot of this happened during manufacture or transport from wholesaler to retailer.
I guess this is the price I pay for having received them early.

damn
Who did you order from??

I got my set from DigitalEyes.net. I've ordered from them before in the past and have always been pleased with them. The tins and another DVD I ordered had all been packed securely; the box had no dents or damage when I got it.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnd, I have good news.
What I thought were scratches on Disc 1 of the WWII set weren't scratches. I noticed that I could feel them when I ran my finger on them so I put a little water on the disc, and after some gentle rubbing, they were gone. I guess some sort of crud got on them during manufacturing. I really did think they were scratches, and I'd never had a disc that had "stuff" on it before. Oh well, I'm just glad it's not scratched up.
As for the tins themselves, I really do think the dents were made before the retailer received them. My tins arrived shrink-wrapped together, and it would seem to me that all four would be dented. As it were, the dents were on the second and fourth set in the stack, and they look almost identical. So, I conclude it was a manufacturing thing. I'm not upset about the dents; they're noticeable but not terribly so. I also forgot to mention that, with the exception of the WWII set, none of the tins close securely.
As for the cases, I thought I would contact Disney DVD support and ask if they can send replacements. Otherwise, I will check Tower, as I know they carry empty cases. However, I don't think I've seen double keep-cases there.

My tins werent damaged at all... The 3 i received. After speaking with Costco.com this morning they said that Tomorrowland is not on the website any more because it has sold out. They did expect everyone who had confirmations to receive it. That said, I will believe it when i see it! Hopefully will hear back from them within 24 hours to see if I was one of the ones they were shipping too.

Damn! I'm starting to wish I had just pre-ordered them and maybe I could have them already... What was the cheapest anyone got them for?
I know people who got them early enough from costco got them for $19.99, but did Amazon.com have them cheaper at any point?
-Thanks

I don't think Amazon had them any cheaper than that.
DigitalEyes has them as a set for $94.98, which works out to about $23.75 per title. Buying them as a package deal saves some money over purchasing individually. Of course, this doesn't include shipping.
Up until now, I got all my Treasures tins at the Disney Store on release day, but given their track record of late, I was concerned I wouldn't get all four titles there.

23.09 from Amazon isn't bad compared to:
24.99 - Best Buy
24.99 - from Circuit City

I have them pre ordered from amazon for 23.09 each with free shipping. The status is updated to shipping soon.
Here's hoping I get all 4 with undamaged tins.

Even though mine says shipping soon from Amazon if I click on view order it has "track package" that I can click on and it has already been shipped.

the three have shipped from amazon yesterday. Tomorrowland though is shipping soon. does that mean that I am sure to have a copy or that I might have one?

The reason mine doesn't say shipping soon or anything is because I elected to have all four come together in one shipment as opposed to shipping when they become available individually. I hope this doesn't screw me up. I've been waiting long enough for these, as we all have...

i am not used to amzon, so does "shipping soon" mean that there is a copy waiting for me, or is it just an assumption??

My status on Amazon is shipping soon also. It says that they are 'preparing the products for shipment' and that I cannot change the order now, so I guess that means that there is a copy for you Ciaobelli.

From my experience with Amazon, what it says on the website isn't always updated. Even right now, I can track my package to be somewhere in Kansas, even though it just says "shipping soon".
