Disney’s Bob Iger as Ambassador to China? Not So Fast, Says Critic
https://www.thewrap.com/disney-bob-iger ... t-so-fast/
I always say IRL that IMO, politicians should be that, politicians. I don't understand why the US Constitution doesn't have that in there somewhere... Not that an ambassador = politician, but you know what I mean...

If he were to get any position at all, it definitely wouldn't be something to do with China. Disney has been under fire for their dealings with China. Sounds like something stirred by Republicans to get more attention on his controversies.
I'd like to hope he would never be able to become the nominee of the Democratic Party, but who knows. I'm fine if he only has a minor position somewhere.

Later tonight, Bob Iger will host a dinner party at his Brentwood home to say thanks and so long to friends and colleagues, one of the many stops on a farewell tour that began when he stepped down as chief executive of Disney in February 2020 and will finally end when he steps down as executive chairman and leaves the company at the end of January 2022. (Yes, Iger is staying on one month longer than Disney previously announced, per sources familiar with the timeline.)
