The coolest thing about watching the teaser was not knowing what I was about to see. Not sure why people want spoilers so bad, that sort of takes away from that experience. But to each their own, right?

On a side note, I just ordered a Ball Droid T-shirt! Yeah! :D

... Great. Reading that the article said that the screenplay is "too good for JJ" has me more worried than excited now. :(

Disney apparently rejected George Lucas's ideas for the sequels.

Anyone else find that horrible to do to him? Buy his intellectual property then not listen or to or use his further intellectual ideas? And then who would want to see Star Wars knowing it's no longer George Lucas's Star Wars?

Nope, not after the prequels.

And I can only speak for myself but I can't wait to see it.

So... Is the sequel trilogy even happening?

Well of course (no disrespect)!

And while on topic, I'm in the dark about Disney rejecting Lucas' original treatment, that was just disrespectful. Though on the other hand he liked the trailer and there are still people at Lucasfilm who care about George's creation and intention.

PS. The prequels were good.

rejecting George Lucas' script is best thing to happen.

In fact the original trilogy was so good and successful BECAUSE it was made and crafted by people besides him. If you read the original script George had in plan for first star wars, it was utterly horrible to point it had to be fix and edited by his ex-wife and gary kurtz.

Though this movie won't be by him, i'm not a fan of Jar Jar Abram either.

Well, then I think it should have his ideas...but changed enough to be good by other people, just like for the original movies.
