Mine's not that sad, just not as famous
~ The Washington Township High School Symphony Orchestra
~ I've never seen the WTHS Sinfonia Orchestra b/c I was in it

!
~ The Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra or whatever it's called. The one that plays at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Okay, well this one is famous and prestigous. They played in the first Fantasia!! At the concest my orchestra class went to in 8th grade at the Academy of Music, the Philadelphia Orchestra played Sorcerer's Apprentice! Totally awesome!
Okay, these groups were/where the heck are they now?/kind of but not really/may still be famous...
~ Nickelodeon Music Concert (early 2000s) - LFO, Bewitched, A-Teens, i5 (my cousin's girl group, which was the reason we went). There were more but I don't remember. There was a guy-like Nsync- group that we met backstage when we went to see my cousin, I don't remember there group name though.

Wow cool topic. I've seen a lot artists once they've past their prime or before they got big. Here in Milwaukee we have a festival called Summerfest. It's a pain in the you know sometimes there, but worth it if you like the singer or band that's playing.
But here's the concerts I've been too and then I'll list the five best shows I've seen.
Live
Stone Temple Pilots
Chubawumba(the single worst expierence of my life ever) My buddy's EX-girlfriend got free tickets to this. Just terrible terrible terrible.
Heart
Blondie
Kiss
Poison
Metallica 3 times
Kid Rock twice
Sevendust
Beastie Boys
Pearl Jam
Tom Petty twice
John Mellencamp 3 times
Garth Brooks
Alan Jackson
Hootie and the Blowfish
Everclear
Jet
The Darkness
Alice in Chains
U2
The Rolling Stones
Pink Floyd
Kansas
Hall and Oates
Huey Lewis and the News
Bon Jovi
That's all I can think of for now and as for the five best shows
1. Metallica-Just an unbelievable experience
2. Kid Rock-I've seen him twice and he just has the whole crowd singing going nuts
Tie U2 and The Rolling Stones-You really need to experience these two.
5. The Darkness-One of the best concerts I've seen in a long time

I did some promotion in my college years and have been to more shows than I can remember, I've burned myself out of that phase. There's only 2 or 3 artists I would care to see live these days, and if they lace a venue in or around this city again before theyre too old to rock gigs, that would be remarkable.
let's see what shows i've been to in my relatively short life...

Bob Dylan
Miles Davis
Radiohead
Bjork
Sigur Ross
Pearl Jam
Elliot Smith
Amon Tobin
Air
Wax Mannequin
CR Avery

I'm sure there's well over a dozen more that I'm forgetting, or maybe I've subconsciously erased the memories for good reason...

I can add The Cure to my list, as I saw them a few weeks ago in Tampa. It was a fantastic show, they played lots of favorites, like "Lovesong", "Lullaby", "Fascination Street", "A Forest", "In Between Days", etc etc. The supporting acts were Mogwai, The Rapture, and Interpol, all of whom were excellent.
