A Disney Channel rebrand pitch from 2010. It looks really nice.

And I got a little teary-eyed watching that, since not long after that, I didn't have cable, and I haven't had it since. I miss Disney Channel.

They should really replay some of their old late 80's and early 90's cartoons and play old Mickey Mouse shorts to get some of that ''Disney feeling '' to return to the channel.
Duck Tales, Gummi Bears, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Duckwing Duck. Those shows.
Though sadly they seem to think that the actual Disney formula is for 3- 5 years old only. Those shows above that I mentioned that they should play on the Disney channel to get that Disney feeling back, they play it on the Preschool Disney channel.
Disney is trying too hard to be ''cool'' and ''hip'' and they're hiding their true identity because of it. A bunch of tweens trying to become a hip singer is not Disney, Mickey Mouse running around with Pluto and saving Minnie from Pete, is Disney.
For some reason they seem to think that the actual Disney is for little kids. So in the future, Lion King, Aladdin and others are most likely going to be seem not as family movies but movies for babies that are just learning their ABC's.
I don't see Disney's point for doing this though. If they only want young children enjoying their old movies when they'll forget about it three years later and never care about it because 'they've grown out of it ' then okay, their lost.
They'll loose money and attention and their history will become a mess because of it, and only babies that will cry throughout the whole entire film will ever go to see their new movies with their mums and pregent mums groups.
Disney will become a shallow money- grabbing company, if they haven't already, and just have to cope on finding a new naive female singer and ''hot'' boy bands to sell money. Which is already starting, with the Jonas Brothers and more.
Disney is becoming stupid, but it's their fault. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot and destroy their own business, then okay then. I'll just be laughing, when my children will be growing up with something else, and they'll be just a huge joke of what was once magical.

You know, if I were the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, I change everything for Disney Channel. First I get rid of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and force the animation studios to make a new hand drawn tv series Mickey Mouse and friends. Then I'll kick out some of the stupid tween sitcom shows like Shake It up, Austin and Alley, and etcetera etcetera etcetera. The only shows they can keep is Phineas and Ferb, Fish Hooks, Good Luck Charlie(didn't like the show, but at least it's a family show.), and So Random(I like comedy sketches, but All That was better and I watch Saturday Night live. I will force them to give Oswald the Lucky Rabbit his own tv series. Make tween sitcoms not aiming for only girls but both boys and girls that has nothing to do with pop singers and dancing like dorks. And soon they'll obey my command and the whole DISNEY CHANNEL WILL BE MINE! MINE! MINE! ALL MINE!

Don't worry, I was only joking.

Disney Channel The Netherlands is airing
Duck Tales,
Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers,
101 Dalmatians- The Series,
Legend of Tarzan and
The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa.
Disney should diversify more on their American channel. Not that they should abolish the tween comedies altogether. I mean, we need new Selena Gomeses to lust after.

Is this an angry mob who wants Disney Channel to get back to normal? If so, I love it!

Selena is pretty, but she does kind of look like a 12-year-old in a push-up bra.
Demi's way hotter IMO.

I used to think that but Selena is just BEAUTIFUL.
I found this on tumblr it made my laugh so hard!
it has over
158,000 notes (wow i remember when it had less than 30,000....)
But it's so true. Why would Disney want to pick 3 average looking, girls who can't even act? It only amazing me

I took a look at So Random last night.
I can't even make an effort to find out who these kids are.

Seriously... with each new show it seems the acting gets worse and worse. I thought it was bad enough in Hannah Montana, and now watching that compared to some of the newer stuff... it's like watching veteran Hollywood actors.
While the acting in shows like Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens was hardly spectacular... it was at least decent, and I was able to buy into the world the of the show, instead of being constantly aware that these are kids acting (or attempting to) on a set in a soundstage.

They treat Gadget as a sex goddess (and would do and imagine many things to her....sexually) and religious cult. The obsession level for Gadget is off the chart.
Some people here are just that naive and clueless, I guess -___-

I really think the actors on Nick are 1000X better than the current Disney Stars (not included Bridget Mendler - she's cool!)
The stars of Victorious and ICarly are fantastic, both Dan Schneider shows, & the Victorious team a GREAT singers
