Hey there. I got word from Disney Germany that they'll release The Fox and the Hound in late spring (I'd guess May because the April titles are already out and spring doesn't last forever

) and Pocahontas in summer.
By the way: Really nice list you have here

Oh and Disney Ger also mentioned that Aladdin isn't planned atm. I have some other requests out right now and will tell you about them when they get back to me.
Peace

Will they also release the sequel?

Which are the April titles? Could you please tell us of all the titles planned for a Blu-ray release in 2012?

Will they release the sequel as well?

No word about the sequels yet. April titles are Sister Act 1 & 2, Sweet Home Alabama (all BD only), The Help and Real Steel (I'm counting everything released through WDSHE). But none of the classic masterpieces.
I'm listing everything in German here:
http://www.savedisneyshows.de/merchandising.php I don't know if you can translate the titles (I won't do

) but some also have a cover yet (and most you'll recognize I guess).
The movies listed in the section "Nicht bestätigt!" (Not confirmed!) are... wel not confirmed

They're mainly the ones you listed here for other countries and Blu-ray versions of confirmed DVDs (or vice versa)^^

I just received an e-mail from Vudu with updates on movies that are on my watch list. The following animated classics have just been made available in HDX (1080p):
The Black Cauldron
The Great Mouse Detective
Home on the Range
I'm not sure if this could serve as some sort of inclination as to what will be released on blu-ray this year, but these puppies are ready in HD. The only other classic that has been available in HDX and hasn't been released in BD is Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

I would LOVE to see Atlantis on Blu. I know it's not a favorite among people, but for some reason I've really grown to like the overall look and feel of the film. It's very pretty at times!
The same can be said for Treasure Planet, which in my opinion, is the most-underrated DAC of all time.

Both are beautifully looking movies, and I agree, they are terribly underrated both of them.

New confirmations: Aristocats and Tarzan: Summer 2012 in Germany
I have a new request out concerning further movies and sequels. The first Winnie the Pooh movie (don't now the OT) comes out here on May 24 but only on DVD (no Blu-ray).
Again everythings added here:

A Jake and the Never Land Pirates DVD comes out in Germany, too. March 8th.

I don't know if that's also the Peter Pan story. I don't watch it

They have not confirmed any release of the sequel yet either on Blu-ray or DVD, but I guess that it will be released some time after the original classic. The sites I am using to find Norwegian release dates, release.no and filmweb.no, only have listed the release dates for January, February and March at this moment. I will let you know when they confirm new Disney releases:)

I'm not so sure the cover art's authentic, as it's the exact same one used for the ancient Gold Collection edition of Pocahontas, but it wouldn't be a bad cover to reuse.

It was released by Disney Brazil... it may no be the final coverart, but at least that's what they're using for now...
