I wouldn't have minded that. Doug and Clarissa weren't too far off from finishing their runs, so they could have just kept them running. yeah, but now there's gonna be another lack of change. they should've just alternated the shows instead of replacing them.

and Teennick gets ratings, so they're not just gonna get rid of that.

The problem with this lies in the lackluster quality of the first season, as it was soo bad that I nearly gave up on watching it and was set to blame my love for it on nostalgia blindness (the first episode I watched on my DVR was "Doug, Mayor for a Day", which was just excruciating, and I'm sure this could explain underwhelming ratings). It really didn't start picking up until season two, which upon it found it's groove that would be carried on throughout the rest of the seasons. So I really wanted to see it all the way to the end, since they didn't even get to Al and Moo (I'm not sure what season they're introduced in). Oh well, I'm just happy they're throwing us a bone.

BTW, anyone notice how racy the first episodes of Rocko's were? In "Carnival Knowledge", they go to a fair where there is a ride called "Elevator to Hell" (in the rest of the series, they call it Heck), where the carousel operator is looking at a Slugboy (the slug equivalent of a Playboy, visible bust and all), where even the costumed character mascot is drunk and smoking a cigar. Then in "Sand in Your Navel", Rocko goes to the beach where he winds up stuck between a fat hippos boobs, and he even jump over a fence into a nudist beach (when he takes off his trunks, a censor comes on screen, examines the situation and puts a censor bar over his non-existent junk). This isn't the kind of stuff you find on Nick anymore as everything they produce outside Avatar seems like Nick Jr programming.

Well, it looks like they’re going to let Doug and Clarissa Explains it All finish up their runs, which I’m glad they decided to do. After which, I hope they pick up where Hey Arnold! left off, as it’s a much better show then I remember it being.

Starting tomorrow night the block is being moved up to 10 PM, and expanding to all 7 days a week. Also starting tomorrow Stick Stickly returns with U Pick With Stick in which you can choose 4 episodes from different shows on the 90's Are All That website, and the 4 episodes with the most votes will play. On Monday Hey Dude will be replacing Clarissa Explains It All

FTR, i like some of the stuff they do for commercial breaks(things Clarrissa didn't explain) but every now and then i'd like to see them do one of the old network logos.

There was a LOT of innuendo on that show looking back on it. Don't forget the restaurant Chokey Chicken, which was a play on the slang for masturbation. It was later changed to Chewy Chicken in later seasons.

really? well, nowadays, that'd be a pretty safe reference.

I have no idea why they keep showing seasons 2 & 3 of All That only because after season 3 finishes its 2nd run at the end of the week it goes back to season 2 again. It's very frustrating.

For whatever reason, Nickelodeon only owns the rights to air seasons 2 and 3 right now. They lost the rest of the show a while ago for reasons I'm not sure of (probably just Tollin/Robbins being protective of their masters). I hear that they're trying to fix that, but for now, they only have the rights to those episodes.

I personally wish they'd take off All That for something else, along with Kenan & Kel and Doug, which already finished their original runs. At this point, besides this Halloween weekend and the Friday night U-Pick With Snick votes, all I watch is Hey Dude, and my mileage varies rather slowly with that show as opposed to when I was younger.

Not big on Are You Afraid Of The Dark, so I didn't watch this weekend except for the Kenan & Kel movie.. Fridays I don't watch either as I'm on a date every Friday, so I only watch Hey Dude. I do agree that the other 3 need replacing.
