I saw Mary Poppins at the Wharton Center Wednesday (and I thought it was great), and I did not know until now about Temper, Temper being replaced with "Playing the Game".
"Playing the Game" was a pretty strange part of the musical.

I took the liberty of seeing the show on Broadway with my brother and sister when the former and I were visiting the latter in New York in July. All I can say is that it was awesome. Truly supercalifragilisticexpialidocious in every way imaginable!
What made the experience even better was the fact that they had Laura Michelle Kelly and Gavin Lee playing the roles that they originated in the West End; Mary Poppins and Bert respectively. I got their autographs on my Playbill, along with autographs from the kids who played Jane and Michael, and the people who played George Banks and Mrs. Brill.

Me with Bert himself, Gavin Lee. He asked what I thought of Jimmy Fallon, because of this wrist I wore to see Jimmy Fallon live, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, obviously b/c of the shirt that I got when I came to New York with my family to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when it was on Broadway in 2005 (I wish they'd bring it back!!

)

AND here I am with Laura Michelle Kelly. Before she went off on her merry way, she turned to look back and asked me what my name was, and I told her it was Ben. And get this: She actually SAID that 'Ben' was one of her favorite names!! I swear, she truly IS Mary Poppins!

Great pictures, Ben! And YOU look adorable.
My boyfriend and I saw How To Succeed last night. Loved it and Daniel Radcliffe was great. Too many fans there though to get a picture with him!

Music Theatre International just posted on Facebook that North American rights for productions of
Mary Poppins will be restricted after next year (2026).
This has led to speculation that a new North American tour of
Mary Poppins is forthcoming.
