Human Again=good
MR=bad
For reasons that myself and others stated above.

I don't like how "Human Again" is paced between two key songs from the movie, "Something There" and "Beauty and the Beast". These two fit each other pretty well when played next to each other, but "Human Again" just feels out of place and unnecessary.
That said, I think it's a better song than "Morning Report", which also feels out of place. I really hope that the Diamond releases do contain the original versions of both movies.

Couldn't have said it better.

Confirmed for 2011 release on both the Beauty and the Beast: Diamond Edition site, and now Blu-news. com. We have our first screens of the Blu transfer on this site:

Since this thread has been bumped, I thought I might mention how excited I am for this film's release, which is surprising because it scared the pee out of me when I was little and I refused to own it on any formats.

I haven't seen this movie in so long that now I view it with a certain nostalgia and I'm curious to see if Scar and the stampede scene were as chilling as I remember them.

Anyone here thinks "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" feels forced and out-of-place in the movie?
I've read several reviews claiming so (among them, Janet Maslin of the Times) and even Roy Disney thought so.
I personally think it's one of the highlights in the movie and doesn't feel gratuitous AT ALL. Simba and Nala have not seen each other for a while and now they're rebonding.

This is a little off topic, but what happened to "Walt Disney Pictures Presents", now that it reads just "Disney" everywhere, it just seems so... wrong. I don't know. Maybe I'm just complaining for the sake of complaining, but it irks me a little bit.

I agree with you! I actually tear up every time at that part.

It is definitely one of the best parts of the movie. It does not feel forced at all. It feels a bit like a display/copulation scene from an Attenborough documentary

I cannot wait for 2011 and The Lion king seems like the most anticipated home video release since The Little Mermaid. I hope it turns out just like beauty and the beast

I can't believe the disdain for 'Morning Report'. Seriously, I'm shocked!

As a song, I think "Human Again" is better (though in no means GOOD) but I'd rather watch "Morning Report" because it's brief. That "Human Again" mess is 5 minutes and it's stuck between my two favorite songs in the film.

I have the same feeling, this is however more accurate since Walt had nothing to do with anything after '66/'67
Still, it feels incomplete, less magical and more commercial
like ''coming soon in a wall-mart near you!''
